- 8. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, further comprising a valve support connecting the valve body to the resilient seal.
- 9. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the valve support isolates the valve body from the resilient seal to avoid distortion of the valve body in the anchoring state.
- 10. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the frame is substantially entirely embedded in the resilient seal.
- 11. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the frame is resiliently expandable from the insertion state to the anchoring state.
- 12. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the frame is malleable and stretchable from the insertion state to the anchoring state.
- 13. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the frame is metallic.
- 14. The fluid flow control device of claim 1, wherein the frame comprises a shape memory alloy.
- 15. A body fluid flow control device for placement in a body lumen comprising:
a resilient seal of annular configuration defining a longitudinal passageway; a frame of circular cross-section coupled to the resilient seal and movable between an insertion state and an anchoring state, the frame having a transverse dimension in the anchoring state larger than the transverse dimension in the insertion state and adapted for engaging the body lumen to anchor the body fluid flow control device therein, the resilient seal being movable with the frame and configured to seal with a wall of the body lumen in the anchoring state; and a valve body coupled to the frame and having a passage therethrough in communication with the passageway, at least a first portion of the valve body being movable between an open configuration allowing fluid flow through the passage and a closed configuration restricting fluid flow through the passage, the first portion being resiliently biased into the closed configuration.

- 17. The body fluid control device of claim 15, additionally comprising a valve support connecting the valve body to the seal, wherein the valve support is an elastomeric material.
- 18. The body fluid control device of claim 16, wherein the valve support is integrally formed with the valve body.
- 19. The body fluid control device of claim 16, wherein the valve support is integrally formed with the resilient seal.
- 20. The body fluid control device of claim 16, wherein the valve support is disposed circumferentially around the valve body.
- 21. The body fluid control device of claim 15, wherein the valve body has a first outer diameter and the frame has a second outer diameter, the first outer diameter being substantially less than the second outer diameter.
