Claims
- 1. An isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence encoding amino acids -18 to +392 of SEQ ID NO:2;
- (b) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a mature portion of the protein of SEQ ID NO:2;
- (c) a nucleic acid sequence encoding the complete amino acid sequence encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC Deposit No. 97722;
- (d) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a mature protein encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC Deposit No. 97722; and
- (e) the complement of (a), (b), (c), or (d).
- 2. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (a).
- 3. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 2, wherein said nucleic acid sequence comprises nucleotides +89 to +1318 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 4. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (b).
- 5. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 4, wherein said mature portion comprises amino acids +1 to +392 of SEQ ID NO:2.
- 6. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 5, wherein said nucleic acid sequence comprises nucleotides +143 to +1318 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 7. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 4, wherein said mature portion comprises amino acids +2 to +392 of SEQ ID NO:2.
- 8. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 7, wherein said nucleic acid sequence comprises nucleotides +146 to +1318 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 9. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 4, wherein said mature portion comprises amino acids +4 to +392 of SEQ ID NO:2.
- 10. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 9, wherein said nucleic acid sequence comprises nucleotides +152 to +1318 of SEQ ID NO:1.
- 11. The isolated-polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (c).
- 12. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (d).
- 13. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 1, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (e).
- 14. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 2 further comprising a heterologous polynucleotide.
- 15. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 4 further comprising a heterologous polynucleotide.
- 16. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 11 further comprising a heterologous polynucleotide.
- 17. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 12 further comprising a heterologous polynucleotide.
- 18. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 14, wherein the heterologous polynucleotide encodes a heterologous polypeptide.
- 19. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 15, wherein the heterologous polynucleotide encodes a heterologous polypeptide.
- 20. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 16, wherein the heterologous polynucleotide encodes a heterologous polypeptide.
- 21. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 17, wherein the heterologous polynucleotide encodes a heterologous polypeptide.
- 22. A recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 2.
- 23. A recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 4.
- 24. A recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 11.
- 25. A recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 12.
- 26. A host cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 2 operably associated with a heterologous regulatory sequence.
- 27. A host cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 4 operably associated with a heterologous regulatory sequence.
- 28. A host cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 11 operably associated with a heterologous regulatory sequence.
- 29. A host cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 12 operably associated with a heterologous regulatory sequence.
- 30. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising:
- (a) culturing the host cell of claim 26 whereby the polypeptide is produced; and
- (b) recovering said polypeptide.
- 31. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising:
- (a) culturing the host cell of claim 27 whereby the polypeptide is produced; and
- (b) recovering said polypeptide.
- 32. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising:
- (a) culturing the host cell of claim 28 whereby the polypeptide is produced; and
- (b) recovering said polypeptide.
- 33. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising:
- (a) culturing the host cell of claim 29 whereby the polypeptide is produced; and
- (b) recovering said polypeptide.
- 34. An isolated polynucleotide comprising a nucleic acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:
- (a) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence consisting of residues n-392 of SEQ ID NO:2, where n is an integer in the range of -17 to +31;
- (b) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence consisting of residues -18-m of SEQ ID NO:2, where m is an integer in the range of +363 to +391;
- (c) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide having the amino acid sequence consisting of residues n-m of SEQ ID NO:2, where n is an integer in the range of -17 to +31 and m is an integer in the range of +363 to +391; and
- (d) a nucleic acid sequence encoding a polypeptide consisting of a portion of the complete amino acid sequence encoded by the cDNA clone contained in ATCC Deposit 97722 wherein said portion excludes up to 48 amino acids from the amino terminus and up to 30 amino acids from the C-terminus of said complete amino acid sequence.
- 35. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 34, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (a).
- 36. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 34, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (b).
- 37. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 34, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (c).
- 38. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 34, wherein said nucleic acid sequence is (d).
- 39. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 34 further comprising a heterologous polynucleotide.
- 40. The isolated polynucleotide of claim 39, wherein the heterologous polynucleotide encodes a heterologous polypeptide.
- 41. A recombinant vector comprising the polynucleotide of claim 34.
- 42. A host cell comprising the polynucleotide of claim 34 operably associated with a heterologous regulatory sequence.
- 43. A method of producing a polypeptide comprising:
- (a) culturing the host cell of claim 42 whereby the polypeptide is produced; and
- (b) recovering said polypeptide.
