Buckett

Abstract
This invention is a plastic bucket coupling for receiving the bottom ends of two buckets for coupling. The plastic bucket coupling will form a ring that covers the outside circumference of the bottoms of each bucket and cover two inches from the bottom of the bucket up the side from the bottom.
Description
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

This invention is to allow a user to reduce bending when reaching for objects such as baseballs or softballs during pitching practice. It may also be used by gardeners picking fruits and vegetables who do not want to have to bend over to drop the produce into a bucket.

Prior to this invention, if a person tried to place two buckets on top of one another, the buckets could fall apart and spill their contents. The plastic bucket coupling keeps the buckets together and also adds additional height to the combined buckets.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

The coupling will create a double bucket by connecting two plastic pails/buckets of equal sizes attached bottom to bottom. The coupling will cover two inches of the sides along the bottom of each bucket with two inches in the middle of the coupling.

This invention will be useful for baseball and softball teams during pitching practice. Teams can place balls in one end of the double bucket while using the other end to hold gloves or other items. This product will eliminate the need to bend over as far to retrieve balls to throw during batting and pitching practice. With the height of this product, one would have to just reach over at a comfortable height to retrieve the next ball to be pitched.

This invention will also be useful to gardeners. When they pick fruits or vegetables, they will not have to bend over as far to place the produce in the bucket.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING

Drawing 1 depicts the plastic bucket coupling holding two buckets together, connected bottom to bottom. The plastic bucket coupling covers the circumference of both bottoms of the buckets. The plastic bucket coupling covers two inches of height on the bottom of each bucket and also has two inches of space between the buckets, adding additional height to the coupled buckets.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The plastic bucket coupling will create a double bucket by connecting two plastic pails/buckets of equal size attached bottom to bottom. The size of the buckets does not matter as long as they are identical. The plastic bucket coupling can be made to fit different sizes as long as the circumference of the bucket bottoms are the same. The coupling will cover two inches of the sides along the bottom of each bucket with two inches in the middle of the coupling. The plastic bucket coupling covers the circumference of both bottoms of the buckets. The plastic bucket coupling covers two inches of height on the bottom of each bucket and also has two inches of space between the buckets, adding additional height to the coupled buckets.

Claims
  • 1. Plastic bucket coupling for connecting two buckets characterized in that it consists of two separate buckets which can be coupled to each other when the bottom of each is pushed into the coupling, which will form a ring covering the entire circumference of the bottoms of each bucket.
  • 2. Plastic bucket coupling in claim 1 is formed as a short tube cut to cover two inches of the sides along the bottoms of each bucket.
  • 3. Plastic bucket coupling in claim 1 is ring-shaped and hollow, designed to receive the bottoms of each bucket by being placed in between the two buckets to permit the two identical buckets to be connected to each other.
