Claims
- 8. The method according to claim 6 wherein a gene encoding the DNA binding domain of E1AF protein or its functional equivalent is introduced into the cell so that the gene is expressed in the cell.
- 9. The method according to claim 6 wherein the cell is transfected with a target DNA of the DNA binding domain of E1AF protein.
- 10. The method according to claim 5 comprising introducing ribozyme for mRNA of E1AF gene into the cell.
- 11. The method according to claim 5 comprising introducing ribozyme of mRNA of a matrix metalloproteinase gene into the cell.
- 12. A method for detecting cancers comprising detecting a product expressed by E1AF gene.
- 13. The method according to claim 12 wherein the product expressed is mRNA.
- 14. The method according to claim 13 wherein the product expressed is the expressed protein E1AF protein.
- 15. A method for diagnosing cancer tissue invasion comprising detecting a product expressed by E1AF gene in isolated human cancer tissue.
- 16. The method according to claim 15 wherein the product expressed is mRNA.
- 17. The method according to claim 15 wherein the product expressed is E1AF protein.
- 18. A kit for controlling cancer cell invasion comprising as a constituent component at least one material for controlling transcriptional-activation of the matrix metalloproteinase selected from the group consisting of E1AF protein, a functional equivalent of E1AF protein, E1AF gene, a gene encoding a function equivalent of E1AF protein, an expression vector of E1AF protein, an expression vector of anti-sense RNA of E1AF gene, a decoy inhibiting transcriptional activation of the matrix metalloproteinase, a gene encoding a decoy inhibiting transcriptional-activation of the matrix metalloproteinase, an expression vector of a decoy controlling transcriptional-activation of the matrix metalloproteinase, ribozyme of mRNA of E1AF gene, ribozyme for mRNA of a matrix metalloproteinase gene, and an expression vector of ribozyme for mRNA of a matrix metalloproteinase gene.
- 19. The kit according to claim 18 wherein the decoy is at least one material selected from the group consisting of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein, a functional equivalent of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein, a target DNA of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein, and an expression vector of a target DNA of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein.
- 20. The kit according to claim 18 wherein the gene encoding the decoy is a gene encoding a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein or a gene encoding a functional equivalent of a DNA binding domain of E1AF.
- 21. The kit according to claim 18 wherein the expression vector of the decoy is an expression vector of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein or an expression vector of a functional equivalent of a DNA binding domain of E1AF protein.
- 22. A kit for detecting cancers comprising as a constituent component a probe hybridizable to mRNA of E1AF gene.
