Claims
- 1. A cassette type recording/reproducing apparatus including:
- plural types of tape cassettes selected from the group consisting of a small-size tape cassette and a large-size cassette which are different in size from one another;
- a cassette insertion port formed in a front panel;
- a cassette stage which is reciprocatively moved between a cassette insertion positions at which said plural types of tape cassettes are selectively inserted from said cassette insertion port, and a cassette mount position at which the plural tape cassette subjected to recording/reproducing operation;
- a cassette insertion guide which is disposed inside said cassette insertion port, and adapted to regulate insertion position of a small-size tape cassette into said cassette stage, said cassette insertion guide including a pair of projecting portions to guide a small size cassette on the cassette stage;
- a cassette identifying member which is disposed inside said cassette insertion port, and is driven by a large-size tape cassette to allow said cassette insertion guide to escape out of a cassette insertion space wherein said cassette identifying member is capable of engaging said cassette insertion guide when a small-size cassette is inserted into the cassette insertion port to be guided on said cassette stage by said projecting portions and disengaged from said cassette insertion guide to withdraw said projection portions when said large-size cassette is inserted into the cassette insertion port; and
- control means for moving said cassette insertion guide and said cassette identifying member to an operation position in the cassette insertion space when said cassette stage is moved to the cassette insertion position, and accommodating said cassette insertion guide and said cassette identifying member at an accommodation position out of the cassette insertion space when said cassette stage is moved from the cassette insertion position to a cassette mount position side.
- 2. A cassette type recording/reproducing apparatus including:
- a cassette insertion port formed on a front panel;
- a cassette stage which is reciprocatively moved between a cassette insertion position at which a tape cassette is inserted from said cassette insertion port and a cassette mount position at which the inserted tape cassette is subjected to recording/reproducing operation;
- a cassette discharge lever which is freely rotationally secured to said cassette stage, and pushed and moved by the cassette which is inserted through said cassette insertion port into said cassette stage;
- a cam driven lever which is freely rotationally secured to said cassette stage, and serves to rotationally drive said cassette discharge lever in a cassette discharging direction;
- a cam which is disposed at a fixed position on a movement locus of said cam driven lever which is moved together with said cassette stage, and cams said cam driven lever during said cassette stage being moved from the cassette mount position to the cassette insertion position, whereby said cassette discharge lever is rotationally driven in the cassette discharge direction by said cam driven lever; and
- control means for positionally regulating said cam driven lever in a fixed range with some degree of freedom at the middle position in a swing range in which said cam driven lever is rotated by said cam;
- insertion guide urging means for urging said cassette insertion guide to escape from the inside of the cassette insertion space to the outside of the cassette insertion space;
- identifying member urging means for urging said cassette identifying member to move from the outside of the cassette insertion space into the cassette insertion space;
- a control lever which is driven in one direction by said cassette stage which is returned to the cassette insertion position, whereby said cassette identifying member is moved to the operation position in the cassette insertion space by said identifying member urging means, and whereby said cassette insertion guide is moved to the operation position in the cassette insertion space against said insertion guide urging means by said cassette identifying member; and
- control lever urging means for driving said control lever to another direction by the movement of said cassette stage from the cassette insertion position to the cassette mount position side so that said cassette identifying member escapes to an accommodation position out of the cassette insertion space against said identifying member urging means by said control lever, and said cassette insertion guide is accommodated at the accommodation position out of the cassette insertion space by said insertion guide urging means.
- 3. The cassette type recording/reproducing apparatus as claimed in claim 1, wherein said cassette identifying member is disposed at each of two positions in the neighborhood of both the right and left ends of said cassette insertion port, and said cassette insertion guide escapes out of the cassette insertion space only when the pair of right and left cassette identifying members are simultaneously driven by a large-size tape cassette.
