Claims
- 1. A coating composition that is useful for the preparation of an electrically-conductive layer of an imaging element by a glow discharge process; said coating composition comprising an admixture of tin 2-ethylhexanoate, antimony tributoxide, polyvinyl butyral and butanol in amounts sufficient to form said electrically-conductive layer.
- 2. A coating composition that is useful for the preparation of an electrically-conductive layer of an imaging element by a glow discharge process; said coating composition comprising an admixture of a tin carboxylate, an antimony alkoxide and a film-forming binder in amounts sufficient to form said electrically-conductive layer.
- 3. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said tin carboxylate comprises 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
- 4. A composition as claimed in claim 2 wherein said tin carboxylate comprises 4 to 20 carbon atoms.
- 5. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said antimony alkoxide comprises 1 to 30 carbon atoms.
- 6. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said antimony alkoxide comprises 4 to 20 carbon atoms.
- 7. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said binder is an organic polymer.
- 8. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said binder is an inorganic polymer.
- 9. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said binder is polyvinyl butyral
- 10. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said binder is polyvinyl butyral and said composition additionally contains butanol.
- 11. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said tin carboxylate is tin 2-ethylhexanoate.
- 12. A composition as claimed in claim 2, wherein said antimony alkoxide is antimony tributoxide.
