Claims
- 1. An isolated anti-PTTG antibody which specifically binds a human PTTG polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO:4.
- 2. The antibody of claim 1, which is a monoclonal antibody.
- 3. The antibody of claim 1, which is a polyclonal antibody.
- 4. A composition, comprising the antibody of claim 1, and a carrier.
- 5. A method of determining the presence of a PTTG peptide in a sample, comprising:contacting a sample with the antibody of claim 1 and allowing the formation of a complex between the antibody and said PTTG peptide present in the sample; detecting the presence or absence of an antibody-PTTG peptide complex, wherein the presence of an antibody-PTTG peptide complex indicates the presence of a PTTG peptide in the sample.
- 6. The method of claim 5, wherein the antibody carries a detectable label, and the detecting step is performed by detecting the presence of the label after separation of the antibody-PTTG peptide complex from uncomplexed antibody.
- 7. A PTTG detection kit, comprising the antibody of claim 1; and instructions for its use in detecting the presence of PTTG peptides.
- 8. The kit of claim 7, further comprising a human PTTG polypeptide consisting of SEQ ID NO:4.
