Claims
- 1. A crosslinked film or object formed by curing a curable composition comprising (i) tris-pyrrolidonyl triazine, and (ii) a polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material.
- 2. The crosslinked film or object of claim 1, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material is a hydroxyfunctional resin selected from the group consisting of polyesters, polyacrylates and polyurethanes; or comprises amino active hydrogen functionality or a group convertible thereto.
- 3. The crosslinked film or object of claim 2, wherein the curable composition further comprising an effective amount of a cure catalyst.
- 4. The crosslinked film or object of claim 1, wherein the curable composition comprises from about 5 to about 50 parts by weight of the tris-pyrrolidonyl triazine and from about 50 to about 95 parts by weight of the a polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material, based upon 100 parts by weight of the combination.
- 5. The crosslinked film or object of claim 1, wherein the curable composition is a powder coating composition.
- 6. The crosslinked film or object of claim 5, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises at least one class of active hydrogen functionality selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, amino, mercapto and a group convertible thereto.
- 7. The crosslinked film or object of claim 6, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises hydroxyfunctional compounds and resins selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, polyester resins, polyurethanes, products of condensation of epoxy resins with amines, and mixtures thereof.
- 8. The crosslinked film or object of claim 5, wherein the curable composition further comprising an effective amount of a cure catalyst.
- 9. The crosslinked film or object of claim 5, wherein the curable composition comprises from about 5 to about 50 parts by weight of the tris-pyrrolidonyl triazine and from about 50 to about 95 parts by weight of the a polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material, based upon 100 parts by weight of the combination.
- 10. The crosslinked film or object of claim 1, wherein the curable composition is a water-based coating composition.
- 11. The crosslinked film or object of claim 10, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises at least one class of active hydrogen functionality selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, amino, mercapto and a group convertible thereto.
- 12. The crosslinked film or object of claim 11, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises hydroxyfunctional compounds and resins selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, polyester resins, polyurethanes, products of condensation of epoxy resins with amines, and mixtures thereof.
- 13. The crosslinked film or object of claim 10, wherein the curable composition further comprising an effective amount of a cure catalyst.
- 14. The crosslinked film or object of claim 10, wherein the curable composition comprises from about 5 to about 50 parts by weight of the tris-pyrrolidonyl triazine and from about 50 to about 95 parts by weight of the a polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material, based upon 100 parts by weight of the combination.
- 15. The crosslinked film or object of claim 1, wherein the curable composition is an electrodeposition coating composition.
- 16. The crosslinked film or object of claim 15, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises at least one class of active hydrogen functionality selected from the group consisting of hydroxy, amino, mercapto and a group convertible thereto.
- 17. The crosslinked film or object of claim 16, wherein the polyfunctional active hydrogen-containing material comprises hydroxyfunctional compounds and resins selected from the group consisting of acrylic resins, polyester resins, polyurethanes, products of condensation of epoxy resins with amines, and mixtures thereof.
- 18. The crosslinked film or object of claim 15, wherein the curable composition further comprising an effective amount of a cure catalyst.
- 19. The crosslinked film or object of claim 15, wherein the curable composition comprises from about 5 to about 50 parts by weight of the tris-pyrrolidonyl triazine and from about 50 to about 95 parts by weight of the a polyfunctional active hydrogen containing material, based upon 100 parts by weight of the combination.
