Claims
- 1. A camera having a date printing function, comprising:
- a main body to which a photosensitive film can be loaded, said main body comprising:
- feed means for feeding said photosensitive film;
- a first controller for controlling camera elements including said feed means and including control of printing of a date on the film; and
- film movement detector for outputting a film movement signal when said photosensitive film is fed by said feed means; and
- a date printing device for printing a date on said photosensitive film, said date printing device comprising:
- light emitting means including a plurality of light emitting elements;
- a display device for displaying date data; and
- second controller for selectively operating one of said plurality of light emitting elements to emit light in synchronism with said film movement signal from said film movement detector, to thereby control printing of a date on the film;
- a clock which generates time clock signals;
- a counter for counting said time clock signals, and for updating date data;
- transfer means for transferring the date data updated by the counter, the display device displaying the date data transferred by said transfer means; and
- wherein said first controller outputs control data for printing the date and a start signal for instructing a start of said date printing operation to said second controller prior to the feeding operation by said feed means, said control data including emitting light time information; and
- wherein said second controller controls printing of the date on the film responsive to a film movement signal output from said film movement detector, to said control data which includes said emitting light time information, and to said start signal from said first controller.
- 2. A camera according to claim 1, wherein said date printing device further comprises:
- setting means for setting date data; and
- revising means for revising the date data set by said setting means.
- 3. A camera according to claim 1, wherein said second controller comprises:
- a speed detector for detecting a moving speed of said photosensitive film from said film movement signal; and
- means for controlling an emitting light timing of said light emitting means on the basis of the detected moving speed.
- 4. A camera according to claim 1, wherein said second controller comprises a selector for selecting an execution/nonexecution state of said date printing operation.
- 5. A camera including a date printer for printing date data on a photosensitive film, the camera further comprising:
- a light emitting member including a plurality of light emitting elements;
- a projection lens for projecting light emitted from said light emitting member on said photosensitive film;
- a film feeding mechanism for feeding said photosensitive film;
- a movement detection circuit for outputting a film movement signal when the photosensitive film is fed by said film feeding mechanism;
- a print-use micro-computer for selectively operating one of said plurality of light emitting elements to emit light on the basis of the date data in response to said film movement signal, said print-use micro-computer counting clock signals, and printing the updated date data by said selective operation of the light emitting elements;
- a display device which displays date data; and
- a sequence-control-use micro-computer, separate from said print-use micro-computer, for controlling camera elements including said film feeding mechanism and a print control circuit to operate in a given order, said sequence-use micro-computer being connected to said display device so as to receive date data updated by the print-use micro-computer and to control said display device to display the received updated date data.
- 6. A camera including a date printer for printing date data on a photosensitive film, the camera further comprising:
- a light emitting device having a plurality of light emitting elements;
- film feeding means for feeding said photosensitive film;
- movement detector for outputting a film movement signal when the photosensitive film is fed by said film feeding means;
- said date printer including a printing device for selectively operating one of said plurality of light emitting elements to emit light on the basis of the date data in response to said film movement signal, said date printer counting clock signals, updating the date data on the basis of the counted clock signals, and printing the updated date data by said selective operation of the light emitting elements;
- a display device which displays date data; and
- a sequence controller for controlling camera elements including said film feeding means and said printing device to operate in a given order, said sequence controller being connected to said display device so as to receive date data updated by said date printer and to control said display device to display the received updated date data.
- 7. A camera according to claim 6, wherein said printing device comprises means for setting said date data.
- 8. A camera according to claim 7, wherein said printing device further comprises means for revising date data set by said setting means.
- 9. A camera including a date printer for printing date data on a film, the camera further comprising:
- a print control circuit for controlling date data printing operation of said date printer;
- a sequence control circuit for controlling a camera sequence;
- a communication line for connecting the print control and sequence control circuits with each other such that a communication is performed between said print control circuit and said sequence control circuit;
- wherein said sequence control circuit outputs a control parameter for conducting said date data printing operation to said print control circuit via said communication line, and said print control circuit controls said date data printing operation of said date printer in accordance with said control parameter; and
- a display device connected to and controlled by said sequence control circuit, for displaying a date corresponding to said date data.
- 10. A data recording module mountable on a main body of a camera for recording data on a film loaded in said main body, comprising:
- light emitting means including a plurality of light emitting elements;
- print data setting device for setting said data to be recorded on the film loaded in said main body;
- a receiver for receiving a print control parameter sent from said main body of the camera;
- a transmitter for transmitting said print data set by said print data setting means to said main body; and
- a print controller for executing a printing operation on said film loaded in said main body by controlling said light emitting means in accordance with said print data and said print control parameter sent from said main body.
- 11. A data recording module according to claim 10, further comprising revising means for revising said print data set by said print data setting device.
- 12. A data recording module according to claim 10, wherein said print controller comprises:
- means for detecting a movement pulse signal output in accordance with a movement of said film; and
- means for executing said printing operation in synchronism with said moving pulse signal.
