Claims
- 1. A developing paper having an image receiving dye layer comprising a plasticizing agent applied to a substrate at an application temperature, the plasticizing agent comprising a solid plasticizing agent which is solid at the application temperature and a liquid plasticizing agent which is liquid at the application temperature, wherein the application temperature ranges from about 0° C. to about 45° C.
- 2. A developing paper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the image dye receiving layer comprises a plurality of resin components and wherein a ratio of said plasticizing agent to said plurality of resin components ranges from about 5:100 to about 30:100.
- 3. A developing paper as claimed in claim 1, wherein a ratio of the solid plasticizing agent to the liquid plasticizing agent ranges from about 1:9 to about 9:1.
- 4. A developing paper a claimed in claim 1, wherein the image dye receiving layer comprises a thermoplastic resin.
- 5. A developing paper as claimed in claim 4 wherein the thermoplastic resin is selected from the group consisting essentially of polyester, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymer, polyvinyl acetoacetal, polyvinyl butyral, polyamide, vinyl acetate, polyurethane, polystyrene, AS resin, ABS resin, cellulose ester, and polyvinyl alcohol.
- 6. A developing paper as claimed in claim 5, wherein the vinyl chloride copolymer comprises vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate.
- 7. A developing paper as claimed in claim 1, wherein the image dye receiving layer further comprises at least one of a material selected from the group consisting of a sensitivity increasing agent, an anti-electrostatic agent, an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, and an anti-corrosion agent.
- 8. A developing paper having an image receiving dye layer comprising a plasticizing agent applied to a substrate at an application temperature, the plasticizing agent comprising a solid plasticizing agent selected from the group consisting essentially of triphenyl phosphate and dicyclohexyl phthalate which is solid at the application temperature and a liquid plasticizing agent selected from the group consisting essentially of dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, dioctyl phthalate, dibutyl phthalate, and dioctyl adipate which is liquid at the application temperature.
- 9. A developing paper as claimed in claim 8, wherein the image dye receiving layer comprises a plurality of resin components and wherein a ratio of said plasticizing agent to said plurality of resin components ranges from about 5:100 to about 30:100.
- 10. A developing paper as claimed in claim 8, wherein a ratio of the solid plasticizing agent to the liquid plasticizing agent ranges from about 1:9 to about 9:1.
- 11. A developing paper a claimed in claim 8, wherein the image dye receiving layer comprises a thermoplastic resin.
- 12. A developing paper as claimed in claim 11, wherein the thermoplastic resin is selected from the group consisting essentially of polyester, polycarbonate, polyvinyl chloride, vinyl chloride copolymer, polyvinyl acetoacetal, polyvinyl butyral, polyamide, vinyl acetate, polyurethane, polystyrene, AS resin, ABS resin, cellulose ester, and polyvinyl alcohol.
- 13. A developing paper as claimed in claim 12, wherein the vinyl chloride copolymer comprises vinyl chloride and vinyl acetate.
- 14. A developing paper as claimed in claim 8, wherein the image dye receiving layer further comprises at least one of a material selected from the group consisting of a sensitivity increasing agent, an anti-electrostatic agent, an ultraviolet ray absorbing agent, and an anti-corrosion agent.
