Claims
- 1. A dihalopropene compound of the general formula: ##STR42## wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl substituted with at least one atom or group selected from the class consisting of:
- halogen; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylthio; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynylthio; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoyloxy optionally substituted with halogen; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoylamino optionally substituted with halogen; (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy)carbonyl; cyano; nitro; hydroxyl; amino substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl; and carbamoyl substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl;
- or R.sup.1 is Q.sup.1, Q.sup.2 or Q.sup.3 of the general formula: ##STR43## wherein R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl,
- R.sup.7 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl,
- R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoyl optionally substituted with halogen, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy)carbonyl, (C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy)carbonyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy)carbonyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy)carbonyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy)carbonyl, (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy)carbonyl, cyano, nitro, or carbamoyl substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl,
- R.sup.10 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, and
- n ia an integer of 1 to 5;
- R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkoxy, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkoxy, nitro or cyano;
- A is oxygen, S(O).sub.t or NR.sup.14 in which R.sup.14 is hydrogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl and t is an integer of 0 to 2;
- B is B.sup.1, B.sup.2 or B.sup.3 of the general formula: ##STR44## wherein R.sup.15, R.sup.16 R.sup.17, R.sup.18, R.sup.19, R.sup.20, R.sup.21, R.sup.22, R.sup.23 and R.sup.24 are each independently hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or trifluoromethyl, j is an integer of 0 to 5, and k and l are each independently an integer of 0 to 2;
- r is an integer of 0 to 2;
- X's are each independently halogen;
- Y is oxygen, sulfur or NH; and
- Z is oxygen, sulfur or NR.sup.25 in which R.sup.25 is hydrogen, acetyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl.
- 2. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein Y and Z are both oxygen.
- 3. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein R.sup.2, R.sup.3 and R.sup.4 are each independently halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl.
- 4. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl, and r is 0.
- 5. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl, and r is 0.
- 6. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein A is oxygen.
- 7. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein B is B.sup.1 and X is chlorine or bromine.
- 8. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 7, wherein R.sup.15, R.sup.16, R.sup.17 and R.sup.18 are all hydrogen.
- 9. A dihalopropene compound according claim 1, wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl substituted with 1 to 3 atoms or groups selected from the class consisting of:
- halogen; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylthio; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynylthio; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoyloxy optionally substituted with halogen; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoylamino optionally substituted with halogen; (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy)carbonyl; (C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy)carbonyl; cyano; nitro; hydroxyl; amino substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl; and carbamoyl substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl.
- 10. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 9, wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl substituted with 1 to 3 groups selected from the class consisting of:
- C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyloxy; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyloxy; C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkylthio; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynylthio; C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynylthio;
- C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoyloxy optionally substituted with halogen; C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 alkanoylamino optionally substituted with halogen; and amino substituted with C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkenyl, C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 alkynyl or C.sub.3 -C.sub.6 haloalkynyl.
- 11. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 9, wherein R.sup.1 is C.sub.1 -C.sub.8 alkyl substituted with 1 to 3 groups selected from the class consisting of C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy and C.sub.2 -C.sub.6 haloalkoxy.
- 12. A dihalopropene compound according claim 1, wherein R.sup.1 is Q.sup.1.
- 13. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 12, wherein R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are both hydrogen.
- 14. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein Y and Z are both oxygen; R.sup.1 is Q.sup.1 in which R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are both hydrogen, n is 1, and R.sup.7, R.sup.8 and R.sup.9 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.5 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl; R.sup.2 and R.sup.3 are each independently halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl; A is oxygen; and B is B.sup.1 in which R.sup.15, R.sup.16, R.sup.17 and R.sup.18 are all hydrogen.
- 15. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein R.sup.1 is Q.sup.2.
- 16. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 15, wherein R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are both hydrogen.
- 17. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 1, wherein R.sup.1 is Q.sup.3.
- 18. A dihalopropene compound according to claim 17, wherein R.sup.5 and R.sup.6 are both hydrogen.
- 19. An insecticidal/acaricidal agent comprising, as an active ingredient, a dihalopropene compound according to claim 1.
- 20. A compound of the general formula: ##STR45## wherein R.sup.33 is P.sup.1 or P.sup.2 of the general formula: ##STR46## in which R.sup.34 and R.sup.35 are each independently C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.2 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl,
- R.sup.37 and R.sup.38 are each independently hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl, C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl, (C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkoxy)carbonyl or cyano,
- R.sup.36 is hydrogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl,
- R.sup.42 is hydrogen, halogen, C.sub.1 -C.sub.6 alkyl or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 haloalkyl,
- G is oxygen or sulfur, and
- u is an integer of 1 to 3;
- R.sup.40 and R.sup.41 are each independently halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl; and
- i is an integer of 2 to 7.
- 21. A compound according to claim 20, wherein R.sup.33 is P.sup.1.
- 22. A compound according to claim 20, wherein R.sup.33 is P.sup.2.
- 23. A compound of the general formula: ##STR47## wherein R.sup.40 and R.sup.41 are each independently halogen or C.sub.1 -C.sub.3 alkyl;
- X's are each halogen;
- u is an integer of 1 to 3; and
- i is an integer of 2 to 7.
