Claims
- 1. Assembly for dispensing a fluid product, comprising:
- (a) a container;
- (b) a dispensing head connected to the container and including a channel for dispensing the product, the dispensing channel including a terminal part opening to outside of the dispensing head; and
- (c) a closure member made of an elastic material, having a front portion and a rear portion formed continuously therewith, a flexible flap of a first thickness at the front portion, and a stressing member for the flap in the form of a heel having a second, greater thickness, the heel being angled relative to the flap being made one piece with the flap extending from the closure member, being spaced from the flap and being fixed to the dispensing head,
- wherein the flap is movable between a first position at least partially closing the terminal part of the channel, when dispensing is not taking place, the stressing member normally keeping the flap in said first position due to the elasticity of the material, and a second position wherein the flap is spaced from the dispensing head by flexing under pressure of the product being dispensed and returning, by the elasticity, to the first position, when dispensing ceases and wherein the heel is the only element responsible for the stressing of the flap and fixation of the closure member to the head.
- 2. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the flap is received in a wall of the dispensing head.
- 3. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the heel fits in a corresponding housing formed in the dispensing head.
- 4. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the flap does not completely close the terminal part of the dispensing channel so that air uptake into the container is permitted.
- 5. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the dispensing head is movably mounted on the container.
- 6. Dispensing assembly according to claim 5, wherein the dispensing head includes an external cylindrical skirt, a retaining skirt and an internal skirt, each being cylindrical, coaxial, of circular section and surrounding a hollow endpiece of the head provided with a longitudinal first cut-out, the container carrying a conduit mounted in a sealed manner between the hollow endpiece and the internal skirt, and
- wherein the conduit is provided with a second cut-out, the dispensing channel communicates with the conduit and the hollow endpiece, and the dispensing head is rotatingly movably mounted on the container.
- 7. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the dispensing head is connected to the container by snap-fastening.
- 8. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the dispensing head and closure member are molded as a single piece with a linking film-hinge formed between the dispensing head and the closure member.
- 9. Dispensing assembly according to claim 8, wherein the single piece is made of first and second materials, the flap is made of the first material which is an overinjected material more flexible than the second material.
- 10. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the heel extends from the rear portion of the closure member at an angle relative to the flap.
- 11. Dispensing assembly according to claim 1, wherein the dispensing head includes a seat surrounding the terminal part of the dispensing channel, and
- wherein, in the first position, the flap overlies and seals against the seat.
- 12. Assembly for dispensing a fluid product, comprising:
- (a) a container;
- (b) a dispensing head connected to the container and including a channel for dispensing the product, the dispensing channel including a terminal part opening to outside of the dispensing head, said dispensing head also including a seat surrounding the terminal part of the channel; and
- (c) a closure member made of an elastic material, having a front portion and a rear portion formed continuously therewith, a flexible flap of a first thickness at the front portion, and a stressing member for the flap in the form of a heel having a second, greater thickness, the heel being made one piece with the flap extending from the rear portion at an angle relative to the flap, being spaced from the flap and being fixed to the dispensing head, said closure member being connected to the dispensing head adjacent the terminal part of the dispensing channel,
- wherein the flap is at least partially in a contact position overlying and sealing against the seat when dispensing is not taking place, the stressing member normally urging the flap into said contact position due to the elasticity of the material and the angle between the flap and heel, moving away, at least partially, from the seat by flexing under pressure of the product being dispensed and returning, by the elasticity, to the contact position when dispensing ceases and
- wherein the heel is the only element responsible for the stressing of the flap and fixation of the closure member to the head.
- 13. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein at least a portion of the flap is received in a wall of the dispensing head.
- 14. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein the heel fits in a corresponding housing formed in the dispensing head.
- 15. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein the flap does not completely close the terminal part of the dispensing channel so that air uptake into the container is permitted.
- 16. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein the dispensing head is movably mounted on the container.
- 17. Dispensing assembly according to claim 16, wherein the dispensing head includes an external cylindrical skirt, a retaining skirt and an internal skirt, each being cylindrical, coaxial, of circular section and surrounding a hollow endpiece of the head provided with a longitudinal first cut-out, the container carrying a conduit mounted in a sealed manner between the hollow endpiece and the internal skirt, and
- wherein the conduit is provided with a second cut-out, the dispensing channel communicates with the conduit and the hollow endpiece, and the dispensing head is rotatingly movably mounted on the container.
- 18. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein the dispensing head is connected to the container by snap-fastening.
- 19. Dispensing assembly according to claim 12, wherein the dispensing head and closure member are molded as a single piece with a linking film-hinge formed between the dispensing head and the closure member.
- 20. Dispensing assembly according to claim 19, wherein the single piece is made of first and second materials, the flap is made of the first material which is an overinjected material more flexible than the second material.
- 21. Assembly for dispensing a fluid product, comprising:
- a container;
- a dispensing head including a channel for dispensing the product; and
- a closure member located at a terminal part of the dispensing channel opening to the outside, the member including a flap and a seat, which forms part of a piece of the dispensing head, the flap being a springy leaf at least partially in contact with the seat when dispensing is not taking place, moving away, at least partially, from the seat by flexing under the pressure of the product being dispensed and returning, by elasticity, to its initial position when dispensing ceases, the flap being subjected to the action of a stressing member tending to return the flap to its initial position,
- wherein the springy leaf is made of a flexible material,
- wherein the stressing member is a heel on the closure member, the heel being angled relative to the springy leaf thicker than said springy leaf, and made in one piece with the springy leaf and the closure member is fixed to the dispensing head via the heel, and
- wherein the heel is the only element responsible for stressing of the springy leaf and fixation of the closure member to the head.
- 22. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel has a substantially parrallelpiped shape.
- 23. Dispensing assembly according to claim 22, wherein the heel is two pieces.
- 24. Dispensing assembly according to claim 23, wherein a strengthening crosspiece connects the two pieces constituting the heel, over part of their height.
- 25. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel includes a catching lug.
- 26. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel has a substantially cylindrical shape.
- 27. Dispensing assembly according to claim 26, wherein the heel has an annular shape.
- 28. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel extends approximately perpendicular to a plane in which the springy leaf extends when dispensing is not taking place.
- 29. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel and a plane in which the springy leaf extends form when dispensing is not taking place an angle therebetween which differs from 90.degree..
- 30. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel is placed transversely with respect to the leaf and to a rear of the leaf.
- 31. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the heel extends parallel to a longitudinal axis of the leaf, on each side of the leaf.
- 32. Dispensing assembly according to claim 31, wherein the heel is close to a rear area of the leaf.
- 33. Dispensing assembly according to claim 31, wherein the heel is close to a central area of the closure member.
- 34. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the closure member possesses three portions making, in pairs, an angle between them.
- 35. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the closure member possesses a rear part extending beyond an area of connection of the heel, the rear part bearing on part of the dispensing head.
- 36. Dispensing assembly according to claim 35, wherein the rear part is in compression after mounting the closure member on the dispensing head.
- 37. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the leaf extends, at rest, in a plane which makes an angle with a plane perpendicular to a plane in which the heel extends, the angle being greater than an angle that these same planes make when the closure member is fixed to the dispensing head.
- 38. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the dispensing channel is formed partly inside the closure member.
- 39. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the closure member and at least part of the dispensing channel are carried by a movable member mounted on the dispensing head so as to move with respect to the dispensing head.
- 40. Dispensing assembly according to claim 39, wherein the movable member can be moved translationally with respect to the dispensing head.
- 41. Dispensing assembly according to claim 39, wherein the movable member is mounted so as to rotate on the dispensing head.
- 42. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, wherein the dispensing head is mounted on the container by screwing.
- 43. Dispensing assembly according to claim 21, further comprising rapid-opening means having at least one ramp to permit the dispensing head of the dispensing assembly to be unfastened.
- 44. Assembly for dispensing a fluid product, comprising:
- a container;
- a dispensing head containing a channel for dispensing the fluid product; and a closure located at a terminal part of the dispensing head at an opening to outside of the dispensing channel, the closure including an obturator and a seat formed in the dispensing head, the obturator having a springy leaf at least partially in contact with the seat when dispensing is not taking place, moving away, at least partially, from the seat by flexing under the pressure of the product to be dispensed and returning, by elasticity, to the contact position when dispensing ceases, the obturator being subjected to the action of a stressing member tending to return it to the contact position,
- wherein the springy leaf is made of a flexible material, and the stressing member is a heel formed on the closure member, fixed to the dispensing head, angled relative to the springy leaf thicker than said springy leaf, and made in one piece with the springy leaf and
- wherein the heel is the only element responsible for stressing of the springy leaf and fixation of the closure member to the head.
- 45. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein at least a portion of the springy leaf is received in a wall of the dispensing head.
- 46. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel has a generally parallelepiped shape.
- 47. Dispensing assembly according to claim 46, wherein the heel includes a catching lug.
- 48. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel has a generally cylindrical shape.
- 49. Dispensing assembly according to claim 48, wherein the heel has an annular shape.
- 50. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel is two pieces.
- 51. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel is forcibly fitted into a corresponding housing in the dispensing head.
- 52. Dispensing assembly according to claim 45, wherein the heel extends approximately perpendicularly to the plane in which the springy leaf extends when dispensing is not taking place.
- 53. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel and the plane in which the springy leaf extends when dispensing is not taking place form an angle between them which differs from 90.degree..
- 54. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel is oriented transversely with respect to the springy leaf and to a rear of it.
- 55. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the heel is two pieces extending parallel to a longitudinal axis of the leaf, on each side thereof.
- 56. Dispensing assembly according to claim 55, wherein the heel is adjacent the rear area of the springy leaf.
- 57. Dispensing assembly according to claim 55, wherein a strengthening crosspiece connects the two pieces, over part of their height.
- 58. Dispensing assembly according to claim 55, wherein the heel is close to a central area of the springy leaf.
- 59. Dispensing assembly according to claim 58, wherein the springy leaf possesses three portions making, in pairs, an angle between them.
- 60. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the springy leaf does not completely close the terminal part of the dispensing channel so that air uptake into the container is permitted.
- 61. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the springy leaf possesses a rear part extending beyond an area of connection of the heel, the rear part bearing on part of the dispensing head.
- 62. Dispensing assembly according to claim 61, wherein the rear part is in compression after mounting the closure member on the dispensing head.
- 63. Dispensing assembly according to claim 44, wherein the leaf extends, when dispensing is not taking place, in a plane which makes an angle with a plane perpendicular to a plane in which the heel extends, the angle being greater than an angle that these same planes make when the closure member is fixed to the dispensing head.
