Claims
- 1. Essentially pure DNA containing a sequence of nucleotides coding for a synthetic peptide consisting essentially of the following sequence of amino acids, reading from the amino end to the carboxy end of said sequence: ##STR13##
- 2. Synthetic DNA containing a sequence of nucleotides coding for a peptide of claim 1.
- 3. DNA of claim 2 containing the following sequence of nucleotides or their functional equivalents for expression of said peptide: ##STR14##
- 4. Synthetic DNA containing a sequence of nucleotides coding for a peptide of claim 1 linked directly at its amino end to the carboxy terminus of the following sequence of amino acids: ##STR15## or a portion thereof.
- 5. DNA of claim 4 containing the following sequence of nucleotides or their functional equivalents for expression of such a peptide: ##STR16##
- 6. Synthetic DNA containing a sequence of nucleotides coding for a peptide of claim 1 linked directly at its carboxy end to the amino-terminus of the following sequence of amino acids: ##STR17## or a portion thereof.
- 7. DNA of claim 6 containing the following sequence of nucleotides or their functional equivalents for expression of such a peptide: ##STR18##
- 8. Synthetic DNA containing a sequence of nucleotides coding for a peptide of claim 1 linked directly to additional amino acids as set forth in claims 4 and 6.
- 9. DNA of claim 8 containing the following sequence of nucleotides or their functional equivalents for expression of such a peptide: ##STR19##
