Claims
- 1. A method of producing a noggin polypeptide which comprises culturing transformed host cells, each of which contains an expression vector comprising an expression control sequence operatively linked to a nucleic acid molecule selected from the group consisting of:(a) a nucleotide sequence comprising the coding region of human noggin as set forth in SEQ. ID NO: 1, and (b) a nucleotide sequence differing from the sequence of (a) and which encodes a noggin polypeptide encoded by the sequence of (a), under conditions suitable for expression of said polypeptide.
- 2. A method as claimed in claim 1, wherein human noggin is produced in a form substantially free of proteins of non-human origin.
