Claims
- 1. A motor provided with a dynamic-pressure fluid bearing, said motor comprising:
- a stator;
- a rotor which is rotatable relative to said stator;
- a means for rotating said rotor;
- a polygon mirror which is fitted on said rotor; and
- a dynamic-pressure fluid bearing formed by surfaces of said stator and rotor,
- wherein (i) a surface of one of said stator and rotor contains a polyamideimide coating thicker than 3 .mu.m and the other surface is metal, and (ii) said polyamideimide contains PTFE, where an amount of said PTFE in said polyamideimide falls within a range of 3% to 20% by weight.
- 2. The motor as defined in claim 1, wherein said polyamideimide coating is formed on a metal surface which has been roughened to greater than 2 .mu.m in maximum height.
- 3. The motor as defined in claim 1, wherein all parts constituting the dynamic-pressure fluid bearing are made of an aluminum alloy.
- 4. The motor as defined in claim 1, wherein the other metal surface is a metal plating.
- 5. The motor as defined in claim 4, wherein all parts constituting the dynamic-pressure fluid bearing are made of an aluminum alloy, where one of said parts is coated with the polyamideimide thicker than 3 .mu.m and the other part is anodized.
- 6. The motor as defined in claim 5, wherein the metal plating is electroless nickel plating.
