1. Field of the Invention
The present invention relates to an ear hanger, and more particularly to an ear hanger capable of firmly fixing a transmission line.
2. Related Art
The usage of earphones continues to increase with the increased activity of people. Particularly, small earphones have the convenience of carrying on the person, so they are widely preferred by users. They have been applied to from small radios and walkmans in the early stage to the field of various novel electronic devices, such as mobile phones, portable walkmans (e.g. CD players), and the like.
For the convenience of the user to wear earphones, some manufacturers have developed a headphone set with a hoop band. When in use by the user, the headphone set is set astride the user's head with the hoop band to provide proper hanging and supporting effects. It is inevitable for the headphone set to compress the user's hair and ruin the hair style when in use, so that its practicability is still doubted. Hence, the sales of such headphone sets are always limited to a certain extent.
Other manufacturers have developed an earphone with an ear hanger. An arciform hanging rod is additionally mounted on the top of the earphone so that the user can insert the speaker of the earphone into the outer end of a user's external auditory canal while hanging the hanging rod on the upper rim (helix) of the ear to provide the earphone with excellent hanging and supporting effects like a temple of eyeglasses.
A commercially available ear hanger is assembled with an earphone body into one piece. After the user wears the ear hanger behind the user's ear, the ear hanger is provided with a speaker at one end thereof and has a transmission line extending from the other end thereof for connection to a player. Therefore, there is a demand for improvement of a conventional ear hanger. Moreover, another conventional earphone only includes a line and an earphone element. The line hangs down when in use by a user, so the line is often hooked by some other foreign object due to the carelessness of the user.
It is the primary object of the present invention to provide an ear hanger capable of firmly fixing an earphone transmission line.
To achieve the foregoing object, an ear hanger of the present invention comprises a frame, a first containing section, a second containing section and a third containing section. The frame is shaped as a curve and includes a hook portion and an abutting portion. The hook portion is formed at the upper end of the frame. The abutting portion is formed at the lower end of the frame. The first containing section is shaped along the hook portion and has a first opening. The second containing section is shaped along the abutting portion and has a second opening. The third containing section is shaped along the abutting portion and located between the first containing section and the second containing section, and the third containing section has a third Opening. The third opening is opened on the side opposite to the positions where the first opening and the second opening are opened.
The ear hanger further comprises a first notch and a second notch. The first notch is formed between the first containing section and the third containing section, and the transmission line passes from the first containing section through the first notch into the third containing section. The second notch is formed between the second containing section and the third containing section, and the transmission line passes from the second containing section through the second notch into the third containing section.
The abutting portion includes a lip plate.
The first containing section, the second containing section, the third containing section, the first notch and the second notch limit and fix the position of the transmission line.
The ear hanger is made of a plastic material.
The contents of the present invention will become more apparent from the following description when taken in conjunction with the drawings.

The frame 41 is shaped as a curve and includes a hook portion 411 and an abutting portion 412. The hook portion 411 has an inverted shape and is formed at the upper end of the frame 41. The abutting portion 412 is formed at the lower end of the frame 41.
The first containing section 42 is shaped along the hook portion 411 and has a first opening 421. The second containing section 43 is shaped along the abutting portion 412 and has a second opening 431. The third containing section 44 is shaped along the abutting portion 412, located between the first containing section 42 and the second containing section 43, and has a third opening 441. The third opening 441 is opened on the side opposite to the positions where the first opening 421 and the second opening 431 are opened.
The first notch 45 is formed between the first containing section 42 and the third containing section 44. The second notch 46 is formed between the second containing section 43 and the third containing section 44.
When the ear hanger 4 is used to fix the transmission line 5, the transmission line 5 can be accommodated in the first containing section 42, the second containing section 43 and the third containing section 44 respectively by the first opening 421, the second opening 431 and the third opening 441. The transmission line 5 passes through the first notch 45 into the third containing section 44, and passes from the second containing section 43 through the second notch 46 into the third containing section 44.
The third opening 441 is opened on the side opposite to the positions where the first opening 421 and the second opening 431 are opened. As a result, when the user wears the ear hanger 4 and the transmission line 5 is pulled or dragged, the ear hanger 4 tightly holds the transmission line 5 so as to prevent the transmission line 5 from falling off the ear hanger 4 when the user pulls or drags the transmission line 5 imprudently.
In summarization of the foregoing description, the effect of the ear hanger according to the present invention is that the first containing section, the second containing section and the third containing section are disposed to hold the transmission line, and the third opening is opened on the side opposite to the positions where the first opening and the second opening are opened, so that the ear hanger can tightly hold the transmission line and it is not easy for the transmission line to fall off due to pulling or dragging of the transmission line.
What are described above are only preferred embodiments of the invention and should not be used to limit the scope of the present invention, and therefore all equivalent changes and modifications, which do not depart from the spirit and scope of the present invention should be included in the appended claims.
In summarization of the foregoing description, the ear hanger of the present invention meets the requirements of inventiveness and industrial applicability of patents, and the application for a utility model patent is duly filed accordingly.
