Claims
- 1. A dispensing container for fluid made at least in part from a thermoformed plastic film having at least one manually controllably rupturable hollow formation exposed to said fluid contained in said container. Said formation, when manually squeezed, controllably rupturing to create an outlet for said fluid to flow through said protrusion and out of said container.
- 2. The dispenser of claim 1 where said at least one rupturable hollow formation is covered with an absorbent sponge-like pad which when said protrusion is ruptured will absorb said fluid flowing through said protrusion.
- 3. The dispenser of claim 1 where said dispensing container is entirely enclosed in an absorbent sponge-like material.
- 4. The dispenser of claim 1 where said container is a two walled pouch with at least one relatively stiff side in which said rupturable hollow formation is formed, said two walls sealed peripherally to each other to create a containment pouch.
- 5. The dispenser of claim 4 where said stiff side has an absorbent sponge-like pad adheringly attached to it over said rupturable hollow formation to absorb the said contained fluid.
- 6. The dispenser of claim 1 where said container is a thermoformed hollow member with a closed end comprising said rupturable hollow formation and an opposing end for filling said fluid after which said open end is sealingly closed.
- 7. The dispenser of claim 6 where said container has an absorbent sponge-like pad adheringly attached to it at least over said protrusion to absorb said contained fluid.
- 8. The dispenser of claim 6 where said container is completely enclosed in an absorbent sponge-like material.
- 9. The dispenser of claim 1 where said container is a thermoformed generally tubular member with one closed end, said closed end comprising a rupturable formation and said other end being mated in a leakproof manner to an additional means to extend the size and functionality of said tubular member.
- 10. The dispenser of claim 1 where said rupturable formation comprising a breakaway tip extends from a surface wherein the locus of the line of intersection of the wall of said protrusion with said surface comprises the locus of a fault line.
- 11. The dispenser of claim 1 where said rupturable formation is a hollow member whose surface contains rupturable fault line pattern.
- 12. The dispenser of claim 11 where said rupturable formation comprises the entire container.
- 13. The dispenser of claim 10 where said rupturable formation has an absorbent sponge-like material covering it.
- 14. The dispenser of claim 12 where said entire container is enclosed in an absorbent sponge-like material.
- 15. The dispenser of claim 1 where said entire container is enclosed in an absorbent sponge-like material.
