Claims
- 1. An electrophotographic copying device comprising a photosensitive member, charging means and exposing means for forming an electrostatic latent image on said photosensitive member, developing means for visualizing said electrostatic latent image, means for fixing said visible image, means for transporting copying paper, means for transferring said visible image onto said copying paper, and means for making the surface potential of the photosensitive member substantially uniform after the termination of a copying cycle and before the complete cessation of operation of the device.
- 2. An electrophotographic device as defined in claim 1 characterized in that said means for providing a uniform surface potential includes AC corona discharge means and means for providing relative movement between said discharge means and said photosensitive member to provide an AC corona discharge over the entire image receiving surface of said photosenstive member after the termination of a copying cycle and before said complete cessation of operation of the device.
- 3. An electrophotographic device as defined in claim 1 characterized in that said means for providing a uniform surface potential includes light exposure means and means for providing relative movement between said light exposure means and said photosensitive member to provide light exposure over the entire image receiving surface of said photosensitive member after the termination of a copying cycle and before said complete cessation of operation of the device.
- 4. An electrophotographic device as defined in claim 1 characterized in that said paper receiving tray means comprises a main tray having an upwardly inclined plane with respect to the discharging direction of said copying paper and an auxiliary tray connected at the extreme end of said main tray and disposed in a downwardly inclined plane.
