Claims
- 1. An electrophotographic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon which comprises a compound comprising an azo charge generating moiety and a triarylamino charge transporting moiety in the molecule thereof, wherein said compound is selected from the group consisting of compounds of the formulae (305)-(319) inclusive, as follows: ##STR291##
- 2. An electrophotographic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon which comprises a compound comprising an azo charge generating moiety and triarylamino charge transporting moiety in the molecule thereof, wherein said compound has formula (1): wherein X is a bivalent, trivalent or tetravalent aromatic cyclic hydrocarbon group or aromatic heterocyclic group; Y is a monovalent charge transporting group; Cp.sup.1 is a 2- to 6-valent coupler radical; Cp.sup.2 is a monovalent coupler radical; i is an integer of 1 to 4; j is an integer of 0 to 3; i+j is an integer of 2 to 4; k is an integer of 1 to 5; moiety A, ##STR292## is said charge generating moiety; and moiety B, .paren open-st.Y).sub.k, is said charge transporting moiety, and wherein said Cp.sup.1 in said charge generating moiety is a moiety with the following formula: ##STR293## wherein Ar.sup.4 is an arylene group, and R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
- 3. An electrophotograhic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon which comprises a compound comprising an azo charge generating moiety and a triarylamino charge transporting moiety in the molecule thereof, wherein said compound is a compound with formula (5): ##STR294## wherein Cp.sup.1' is a bivalent coupler radical; Cp2 is a monovalent coupler radical; each of Ar.sup.1 and Ar2 is an aryl group; Ar.sup.3 is an arylene group; D is selected from the group consisting of an ethylene group, a vinylene group, an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom; n is an integer of 0 to 2; moiety A, ##STR295## is said charge generating moiety; and moiety B, ##STR296## is said charge transporting moiety, and wherein said Cp.sup.1' in said charge generating moiety is a moiety with the following formula: ##STR297## wherein Ar.sup.4 is an arylene group, and R is hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
- 4. An electrophotographic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon which comprises a compound comprising an azo charge generating moiety and a triarylamino charge transporting moiety in the molecule thereof, wherein said compound is a compound with formula (7): ##STR298## wherein Cp.sup.1' is a monovalent coupler radical; Cp.sup.2 is a monovalent coupler radical; each of Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 is an aryl group; Ar.sup.3 is an arylene group; D is selected from the group consisting of an ethylene group, a vinylene group, an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom; n is and integer of 0 to 2; moiety A, ##STR299## is said charge generating moiety; and moiety B, ##STR300## is said charge transporting moiety, and wherein said Cp.sup.1' in said charge generating moiety is a moiety with the following formula: ##STR301## wherein Ar.sup.4 is an arylene group, and R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
- 5. An electrophotographic photoconductor comprising an electroconductive support and a photoconductive layer formed thereon which comprises a compound comprising an azo charge generating moiety and a triarylamino charge transporting moiety in the molecule thereof, wherein said compound is a compound with formula (3): ##STR302## wherein Cp.sup.1' is a bivalent coupler radical; each of Ar.sup.1 and Ar.sup.2 is an aryl group; Ar.sup.3 is an arylene group; D is selected from the group consisting of an ethylene group, a vinylene group, an oxygen atom and a sulfur atom; n is an integer of 0 to 2; moiety A, ##STR303## is said charge generating moiety; and moiety B, ##STR304## is said charge transporting moiety, and wherein said Cp.sup.1' in said charge generating moiety is a moiety with the following formula: ##STR305## wherein Ar.sup.4 is an arylene group, and R is a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.
