Claims
- 1. An electorphotographic photoreceptor having at least a photosensistive layer on an electroconductive substrate, wherein the photosensitive layer contains a charge transport material having α polarizability α satisfying:α>100 (Å3) and a polyarylate resin.
- 2. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1, wherein the charge transport material has a dipole moment P of the formula:P<1.6(D).
- 3. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 1, wherein the polyarylate resin does not have a nitrogen atom in its repeating unit.
- 4. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 3, wherein the polyarylate resin has the following formula (2): wherein rings A, B, and C each represent a benzene ring which may have 1 to 4 substituents, and X represents a divalent organic group.
- 5. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 4, wherein the polyarylate resin of formula (2) has structural units of at least one of the following formulae (3) and (4):
- 6. The electrophotographic photoreceptor according to claim 5, wherein m represents the molar ratio of the structural units of formula (3), and n represents the molar ratio of the structural units of formula (4), and wherein the molar ratios satisfy the following formula:0.5≦n/(m+n)≦1.
