Flame-retardant resin composition and flame-retardant resin-molded article

Abstract
According to an aspect of the invention, there is provided a flame-retardant resin composition comprising: a polycarbonate resin; flame-retardant particles that contain a metal hydrate, have thereon a coating layer containing an organic compound or a silicone, and have a volume average particle diameter of about 1 to 500 nm; and a flame-retardant auxiliary.

Claims
  • 1. A flame-retardant resin composition comprising: a polycarbonate resin;flame-retardant particles that contain a metal hydrate, have thereon a coating layer containing an organic compound or a silicone, and have a volume average particle diameter of about 1 to 500 nm; anda flame-retardant auxiliary.
  • 2. The flame-retardant resin composition of claim 1, further comprising an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin.
  • 3. The flame-retardant resin composition of claim 1, wherein the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin is synthesized by a bulk polymerization method.
  • 4. The flame-retardant resin composition of claim 1, further comprising an organosiloxane.
  • 5. The flame-retardant resin composition of claim 1, wherein the metal hydrate is a hydrate of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Al, Fe, Zn, Ba, Cu, and Ni.
  • 6. The flame-retardant resin composition of claim 1, wherein the flame-retardant auxiliary is a boric acid-based flame-retardant auxiliary.
  • 7. A flame-retardant resin-molded article comprising: a polycarbonate resin;flame-retardant particles that contain a metal hydrate, have thereon a coating layer containing an organic compound or a silicone, and have a volume average particle diameter of about 1 to 500 nm; anda flame-retardant auxiliary;the article having a flame retardancy of HB or more according to the UL-94 test.
  • 8. The flame-retardant resin-molded article of claim 7, further comprising an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin.
  • 9. The flame-retardant resin-molded article of claim 7, wherein the acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene resin is synthesized by a bulk polymerization method.
  • 10. The flame-retardant resin-molded article of claim 7, further comprising an organosiloxane.
  • 11. The flame-retardant resin-molded article of claim 7, wherein the metal hydrate is a hydrate of at least one metal selected from the group consisting of Mg, Ca, Al, Fe, Zn, Ba, Cu, and Ni.
  • 12. The flame-retardant resin-molded article of claim 7, wherein the flame-retardant auxiliary is a boric acid-based flame-retardant auxiliary.
