Claims
- 1. A flat cable comprising first and second insulator sheets having a length and a width, and containing a plurality of conductor elements arranged in parallel relation to one another over the length of said first and second insulator sheets;
said flat cable further comprising an adhesive layer which bonds said first insulator sheet, said second insulator sheet and said conductor elements interposed therebetween by heat-pressing; said first and second insulator sheets being bonded in the zones extending along said length thereof and located outside the loci where said conductor elements are arranged.
- 2. The flat cable according to claim 1, wherein each of said zones is bonded in an intermittent manner.
- 3. The flat cable according to claim 1, wherein each of said zones is bonded in a continuous manner.
- 4. The flat cable according to claim 1, wherein said adhesive layer comprises the same type of material as that of said first insulator sheet, said adhesive layer containing no halogen-based flame-retardant.
- 5. The flat cable according to claim 1, wherein one of said first insulator sheet and said second insulator sheet is at least 1.5 times thicker than the other.
