BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Problem Solved

Disposing the dirty tissues and disinfecting hands after each use of a tissue is sometimes impossible. For example, when driving, when sick in the bed at home or hospital we end up to store the dirty tissues in the door pockets of the car or on the nightstand next to us until having a chance to dispose of them.

During allergy, cold, and flu seasons we use a tissues approximately every 7-10 minutes, which means that we will need to reach the closest disposal location and walk to the sink to wash our hands at this frecuency. Ilustrated with the FIG. 13 -FIG. 17

The invention claimed here solves this problem.

The Flu Fighter is a new product that will help to eliminate those illustrated poor hygiene habits forever. The tissues, disinfecting wipes and disposal bags are currently on the market. However, they were never put together in one product. See FIG. 18 and FIG. 19

The Flu Fighter consists of making those exiting products all available at the same time as they are needed for a better hygiene system to stop the spread of viruses and bacteria that cause the flu or other transmittable illnesses.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

As stated above, disposing the dirty tissues and disinfecting hands after each use is almost impossible. The Flu Fighter is a product designed to solve this problem.

Tissues, disposals bags and the disinfecting wipes are all organized in one Box. So, each time we use a tissue we can dispose it, and disinfect hands on the spot.

The claimed invention is a new set up of the existing products in one new product that significantly improves the hygiene and in a very convenient way. It is unlike any product on the market today.

The Version of The Invention Discussed Here Includes:

    • 1. Box (size of a big tissue box for both designs)
    • 2. Tissues (folded in the box on Design 1; similar to the toilet paper roll on Design 2)
    • 3. Container with disinfecting wipes (folded wipes on Design 1; rolled wipes in the container on Design 2)
    • 4. Container with disposal bags (cuboid shaped of the container and the disposal bags on Design 1; cylindric shape of the container and the disposal bags on Design 2)

Design 1

Relationship Between the Components:

Box 1 is organized in three sections A, B and C. See FIG. 2

Tissues (folded as those on market) are placed in section A. See FIG. 2

The container or the plastic holder with folded disinfecting wipes is placed in section C. FIG. 2

In between, in the section B, is placed the container with the disposal bags inside. FIG. 2

The disposal bags are in cuboid shape, flat bottom, self -standing. See FIG. 18. Those bags can be plastic, or preferably any other waterproof material environmentally friendly. The bags are placed inside each other in order that by removing one fully used bag the next bag is left ready for use.

There are three lids LA, LB and LC exposed on the top surface of the Box 1 in correspondence with each section A, B and C of the Box 1. See FIG. 2 and FIG. 3 for better view of the lids.

How the Invention Works:

The Flu Fighter product arranges the tissues, disposal bags and the disinfecting wipes in one single Box. See FIG. 1 (Conceptual View)

The Tissues are pulled out from the section A of the Box 1 by opening the lid LA. See FIG. 2

The disinfecting wipes are pulled out from the section C of the Box 1 by opening the lid LC. See FIG. 2.

The used tissues and wipes are then disposed in the disposal bag through the cut on the surface of the lid LB. FIG. 2. For a better view of the cut on the surface of the lid LB see FIG. 3.

There will be no need to open and close the lid LB each time we need to dispose a used tissue or wipe since the tissues and wipes can be disposed by pushing those through the cut on the surface of the lid LB. In this way we will need to open and close the lid LB only when the disposal bag is full and need to be removed.

How to Make the Invention?

Divide Box 1 with dimensions L 9″×W 4¾×H 5″ in three sections A, B and C by 3″ each. Cut three openings on the top surface of the Box 1 on the center of each sections A, B and C respectively shaped to allow the lids LA, LB and LC to be sticking out on the surface of the Box 1. FIG. 1 and FIG. 3.

The bottom of the Box 1 will be the last to be sealed since we will fill the Box 1 with the products from the bottom.

Place in Box 1 the folded tissues in the section A to be pulled out by opening the lid LA.

Place the container or the plastic holder with the disinfecting wipes in the section C to be pulled out by opening the lid LC.

Place the container with the disposal bags in the section B in order that we can remove the fully used disposal bag by opening lid LB.

The lid LB of the container with the disposal bags should be made from a soft plastic material so that the cut on the surface of this lid can be self -closing after pushing in the used tissues and wipes FIG. 3.

Design 2

Relationship Between the Components:

Box 2 is organized in two sections D and E. See FIG. 8

Tissues similar to toilet paper roll are placed in section D. See FIG. 8

The container with the roll of disinfecting wipes inside is placed in section E. See FIG. 8

The container with the disposal bags is placed inside of the opening in the center of the roll with tissues. See FIG. 8 and FIG. 12 for better view.

The disposal bags are in cuboid shape, flat bottom, self -standing better described as the bags used in the baby bottles. See FIG. 19. Those bags can be plastic or preferably any other waterproof material environmentally friendly. The bags are placed inside each other in order that by removing one fully used the next bag is left ready for use.

There are two lids LD and LE exposed on the top surface of the Box 2 in correspondence with sections D and E of the Box 2. See FIG. 9 and FIG. 10 for better view.

How the Invention Works:

This new product arranges the tissues, disposal bags and the disinfecting wipes in one single box.

Tissues in the roll are pulled out through the opening cut along of the side of the Box 2. See FIG. 7 and FIG. 8 for better view.

Disinfecting wipes are pulled out by opening the lid LE. See FIG. 8

The used tissues and wipes are then disposed in the disposal bag through lid LD. FIG. 8. For better view of the cut along the surface of the lid LD please see FIG. 10.

There will be no need to open and close the lid LD each time we need to dispose a used tissue or wipe since the tissues and wipes can be disposed by pushing those through the cut on the surface of the lid LD. In this way we will need to open and close the lid LD only when the disposal bag is full and need to be removed.

How to Make the Invention?

Divide Box 2 with dimensions L 9″×W 4¾×H 5″ in two sections. Section D 5½″ and section E 3½″. Cut two openings on the top surface of the Box 2 on the center of each sections D and E respectively shaped to allow the lid LD of the container with disposal bags and the lid LE of the container with disinfecting wipes to be sticking out on the surface of the Box 2. See FIG. 10.

Cut an opening along of the side of the Box 2 bordering section D for pulling out tissues from the roll. See FIG. 8.

The bottom of the Box 2 will be the last to be sealed since we will fill the Box 2 with the products from the bottom.

Place inside of the Box 2 the roll with tissues in section D and the container with wipes in section E.

Place the container with the disposal bags inside of the opening in the center of the roll with tissues allowing space between the inner side of the roll with tissues and the outer side of the container with disposal bags for easy rolling. See FIG. 9. Both container with wipes and the container with the disposal bags must be glued on the bottom with the Box 2 as those need to be stabled when pulling out tissues and wipes.

The lid LD of the container with the disposal bags should be made from a soft plastic material so that the cut along the surface of this lid can be self -closing after pushing in the used tissues and wipes. See FIG. 10. In this way we will need to open the lid d only when pulling out a fully used disposal bag.

In both Design 1 and Design 2 a fully used disposal bag can be pulled out easily and disposed of in a trash can. The capacity of a disposal bag is approximately 35-40 wipes and tissues (size of those in the pockets tissue packs). This number can be improved if the material of the tissues dissolves in contact with wet wipes which are disposed in the same disposal bags with tissues. It is difficult to coordinate the number of the tissues, wipes and disposal bags since it will depend on how those are used, however the left over tissues and wipes can still be used and the left over disposal bags can be transferred from the previous box to the next purchased box of this product with no waste.

All elements described above are necessary.

The Box 1 or Box 2 of this product can be disposable or a permanent. The disposable Box can be made from card board. It will be probably cost effective to use waterproof material for the sections of the Box 1 or Box 2 where the disinfecting wipes will be placed and eliminate the containers for holding the wipes.

The permanent box can be decorative or use to expose family pictures on all sides and must be built to allow refilling with the necessary items (tissues, wipes and disposal bags) as needed.

With an elastic band installed on two sides of the Box 1 that goes along of the bottom of the Box 1 see FIG. 20, the product can be adopted for comfortable use in the cars. The elastic band will keep the product stable and accessible for use by the driver and the passengers. See FIG. 20. This adjustment is for use of the product only in those cars with arm rest console next to the driver.

The disinfecting wipes can be replaced with disinfecting gel bottles for variety of the product. Also, the size of the Box can be variable for example smaller boxes for use in the cars. I would like to name my product

How to Use the Invention?

Use the tissue; Dispose it in the disposal bag; Use the disinfecting wipe; Dispose in the disposal bag

When the disposal bag full (after a trip when in the car or in the morning after using tissues during the night) pull the full bag out and dispose it in the trash can. The next disposal bags will be ready for use.

Additionally:

This new product can be used as a medical supply for hospitals. It can also, be extended on the baby line of products.
