Claims
- 1. A compound selected from the formula I wherein X is —O—, —CH(R11)— or ═C(R11)—; R1 is H or CH3; R2 is H or CH3; R3 is H, C1-C3 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen or CN; R4 is H or C1-C2 alkyl; or R3 and R4 can be taken together as —CH2CH2CH2— or —CH2CH2CH2CH2—; R5 is H, C1-C2 alkyl optionally substituted with halogen or CN; R6 is C2-C6 alkyl, C2-C6 alkenyl, C2-C6 alkynyl or C3-C6 cycloalkyl each optionally substituted with halogen or CN; R7 is H, CN, halogen, C1-C4 haloalkyl, C1-C4 alkyl, C2-C4 alkenyl or C2-C4 alkynyl each optionally substituted with halogen or CN; R8, R9 and R10 are each independently H, halogen, CN, C1-C3 alkyl, C1-C3 haloalkyl, SCF2H, SCF3 or Si(CH3)3; and R11 is H, C1-C5 alkyl, C2-C5 alkenyl or C2-C5 alkynyl.
- 2. A compound of claim 1 wherein:Q is Q-1; R1 is CH3; R2 is H; R3 is CH2CH3; and R4 is CH3.
- 3. A compound of claim 2 whereinR7 is H, halogen, CN, C1-C4 alkyl or C2-C4 alkenyl; R8 is fixed in the 4 position and is H or F; and R9 is fixed in the 5 position.
- 4. A compound of claim 1 whereinQ is Q-2; R1 is CH3; R2 is H or phenyl optionally substituted with halogen, cyano, C1-C2 alkyl or C1-C2 alkoxy; and R6 is C2-C6 alkyl or C2-C6 alkenyl each optionally substituted with halogen.
- 5. A compound of claim 4 whereinR7 is H, halogen, CN, C1-C4 alkyl or C2-C4 alkenyl; R8 is fixed in the 4 position and is H or F; and R9 is fixed in the 5 position.
- 6. A fungicidal composition comprising a fungicidally effective amount of a compound of claim 1 and at least one of a surfactant, a solid diluent or a liquid diluent.
- 7. A method for controlling plant diseases caused by fungal plant pathogens comprising applying to the plant or portion thereof, or to the plant seed or seedling, a fungicidally effective amount of a compound of claim 1.
- 8. A fungicidal composition comprising the compound of claim 1.
- 9. The composition of claim 8 wherein the composition is in a form selected from the group consisting of liquid, powder, emollient, aerosol, and granules.
- 10. A method of treating a plant for a fungal pathogen wherein the method comprisesa. contacting at least a portion of a plant with an effective amount of the composition of claim 9.
