The disclosure relates to hair treatment devices and more particularly pertains to a new hair treatment device for conditioning hair with herbs.
The prior art discloses a hair treatment cap with an internally mounted fragrant-permeable pocket containing a fragrant substance to freshen the hair of a user. However, the prior art does not describe a device which allows for the hair of the user to contact the contents of such a pocket to infuse with oils present in herbs stored in the pocket.
An embodiment of the disclosure meets the needs presented above by generally comprising a cap is dome shaped and defines a cavity. The cap is configured for containing a hair of a user in the cavity. A pocket that is perforated is coupled to an inner surface of the cap. The pocket is configured for containing herbs and has an opening configured for receiving the herbs.
There has thus been outlined, rather broadly, the more important features of the disclosure in order that the detailed description thereof that follows may be better understood, and in order that the present contribution to the art may be better appreciated. There are additional features of the disclosure that will be described hereinafter and which will form the subject matter of the claims appended hereto.
The objects of the disclosure, along with the various features of novelty which characterize the disclosure, are pointed out with particularity in the claims annexed to and forming a part of this disclosure.
The disclosure will be better understood and objects other than those set forth above will become apparent when consideration is given to the following detailed description thereof. Such description makes reference to the annexed drawings wherein:
With reference now to the drawings, and in particular to
As best illustrated in
A plurality of pockets 26 is coupled to an inner surface 28 of the cap 12, and each pocket 26 of the plurality of pockets 26 is perforated such that the hair of the user 16 can pass into each pocket 26. The term “perforated” as used in the specification and the claims does not refer to formation of holes through piercing. Instead, the term “perforated” refers to having several apertures dispersed across the pocket 26. These apertures are formed by a netting 30, which as used in the specification and claims refers to a loose weave of fibers such that the apertures mentioned may be formed. Each pocket 26 of the plurality of pockets 26 is configured for containing herbs 32. Each the pocket 26 of the plurality of pockets 26 also has an opening 34 configured for receiving the herbs 32. The openings 34 of the plurality of pockets 26 face a same direction.
Each closure 36 of a plurality of closures 36 is associated with a respective pocket 26 of the plurality of pockets 26. Each closure 36 has a first mating member 38 which is coupled to the respective pocket 26 and a second mating member 40 which is coupled to the cap 12. The first mating member 38 of an associated closure 36 of the plurality of closures 36 is removably securable to the second mating member 40 of the associated closure 36 to close the respective pocket 26. Each closure 36 of the plurality of closures 36 is a hook-and-loop fastener 42, but may comprise a zipper, snap fastener, button fastener, or the like. A band 44 is coupled to and extends along a rim 46 of the cap 12. The band 44 is stretchable such that the band 44 is configured for stretching around a head 48 of the user 16.
In use, the herbs 32 are positioned into at least one of the plurality of pockets 26. The first and second mating members 38, 40 of the closures 36 may be secured to each other. The user 16 wears the cap 12 on the user's 16 head 48 such that the hair of the user 16 contacts the herbs 32. In this position, the hair infuses with oils present in the herbs 32 containing nutrients for the hair.
With respect to the above description then, it is to be realized that the optimum dimensional relationships for the parts of an embodiment enabled by the disclosure, to include variations in size, materials, shape, form, function and manner of operation, assembly and use, are deemed readily apparent and obvious to one skilled in the art, and all equivalent relationships to those illustrated in the drawings and described in the specification are intended to be encompassed by an embodiment of the disclosure.
Therefore, the foregoing is considered as illustrative only of the principles of the disclosure. Further, since numerous modifications and changes will readily occur to those skilled in the art, it is not desired to limit the disclosure to the exact construction and operation shown and described, and accordingly, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the disclosure. In this patent document, the word “comprising” is used in its non-limiting sense to mean that items following the word are included, but items not specifically mentioned are not excluded. A reference to an element by the indefinite article “a” does not exclude the possibility that more than one of the element is present, unless the context clearly requires that there be only one of the elements.
