Claims
- 1. A heat sink comprising:
a base plate; and a plurality of folded fins each including side walls adapted to dissipate heat and strips, and strips being punched against the base plate to form a concave section therein, thereby securely integrating the strips with the base plate.
- 2. The heat sink as described in claim 1, wherein the fins are formed by bending a metal sheet, the fins further including top walls interconnecting top ends of every pair of adjacent side walls, and strips interconnecting bottom ends of every alternate pair of adjacent side walls in a staggered manner relative to the top walls, the side walls and the top walls acting as heat dissipating portions and the strips acting as connecting portions.
- 3. The heat sink as described in claim 1, wherein the fins are formed by bending a metal sheet, and every alternate pair of adjacent side walls is folded to abut against each other and the strips interconnecting bottom ends of every alternate pair of spaced side walls.
- 4. A heat sink comprising:
a base plate; and a plurality of folded fins positioned on the base plate, each of said fins comprising a vertical heat dissipating portion and a horizontal connection portion, the vertical heat dissipating portion of each fins being parallel to and connected with those of others while the horizontal connection portion being coplanar with those of others, wherein
the connection portion is punched at more than one position to be evenly fastened to the base plate.
