- 2. The article as claimed in claim 1 wherein the substance is modified by non-covalent modification.
- 3. The article as claimed in claim 2 wherein the substance is lyophilized.
- 4. The article as claimed in claim 3 wherein the substance is gelatin which is treated with hydrochloric acid.
- 5. The article as claimed in claim 3 wherein the substance is gelatin which is treated with ethylenediamine.
- 6. The article as claimed in claim 3, wherein the porous body is water insoluble.
- 7. The article as claimed in claim 1 wherein the substance is modified by covalent modification.
- 8. The article as claimed in claim 7 wherein the substance is lyophilized.
- 9. The article as claimed in claim 8 wherein the substance is gelatin which treated with NH.sub.4 Cl.
- 10. The article as claimed in claim 8 wherein the substance is gelatin which is treated with HCl.
- 11. The article as claimed in claim 5, wherein the porous body is water insoluble.
- 12. The article as claimed in claim 1 wherein the porous body is water insoluble.
