Claims
- 1. A rotor assembly for an electromechanical machine, comprising:
a rotor, a plurality of stacks of laminated pole pieces disposed on said rotor, a plurality of magnets wherein one of said magnets is disposed between each of said stacks of laminated pole pieces, a first means for retaining each of said magnets between each of said stacks of laminated pole pieces, and a second means for retaining each of said stacks of laminated pole pieces on said rotor, whereupon rotational movement of said rotor, said magnets are prevented from moving radially by said first means and said stacks of laminated pole pieces are prevented from moving radially by said second means.
