Claims
- 1. An immunoprophylactic and immunotherapeutic agent, composition comprising grade E human interleukin 2 of human T-lymphocyte cell origin, which is substantially free from endotoxins and pyrogens and is wholly or partially in the oxidized state, having a specific activity of at least 2.times.10.sup.5 units/mg protein, said interleukin 2 showing no cytocidal activity against human lymphocytes in vitro at a concentration of 10.sup.5 units/ml and having substantially no other lymphokine or monokine activity, in combination with an amount of lentinan sufficient to exert synergistic immunological activity.
