Claims
- 1. A display unit comprising:
a processor adapted to control display of the display unit; and a communication controller capable of bi-directionally communicating with a video source; wherein the communication controller communicates information received from the video source to the processor.
- 2. A display unit according to claim 1, further comprising a video circuit adapted to display video signals sent by the video source, wherein the processor generates control signals for the video circuit.
- 3. A display unit according to claim 2, further comprising a memory in which at least display unit information is stored.
- 4. A display unit according to claim 3, wherein the communication controller communicates the display unit information to the video source, and the display unit receives a signal from the video source that is generated based on the display unit information.
- 5. A display unit according to claim 4, wherein the video source is a computer.
- 6. A display unit according to claim 1, further comprising a deflection circuit, wherein the processor generates control signals for the deflection circuit.
- 7. A display unit according to claim 6, further comprising a memory in which at least display unit information is stored.
- 8. A display unit according to claim 7, wherein the communication controller communicates the display unit information to the video source, and the display unit receives a signal from the video source that is generated based on the display unit information.
- 9. A display unit according to claim 8, wherein the video source is a computer.
