Claims
- 1. In a suspended ceiling of the type having a support system for supporting ceiling panels in generally planar relationship to one another the improvement comprising: at least some of the ceiling panels including a panel assembly having a core panel and a decorative panel and dividers therebetween.
Means for supporting said panels from the support system so that the dividers in adjacent panel assemblies cooperate to define wireways for accommodating both power and data-telecommunication cables.
- 2. The improvement according to claim 1 wherein at least some of said panel assemblies include a fire retardant foam panel adjacent said core panel, at the opposite side of said core panel from said dividers.
- 3. The improvement according to claim 1 wherein said panel assemblies further include spacers provided at least at the corners of said decorative and core panels for accommodating hangers associated with said suspended ceiling grid system.
- 4. The improvement according to claim 3 wherein at least some of said panel assemblies include bridging members extending from and coupled to said spacers for supporting said cables during installation and prior to attaching said decorative panels complete said panel assembly process.
