The present general inventive concept relates generally to a board game, and particularly, to a kicking disc board game.
Currently, there are many popular sports played including basketball, football, soccer, and hockey. Unfortunately, most sports require a large number of players. Additionally, sports, such as basketball, football, soccer, and hockey can only be played outdoors.
Moreover, games are a fun and interactive activity that provide entertainment to any participant. However, game players usually seek new games that can combine popular sports in a more compact environment.
Therefore, there is a need for a game that can be quickly assembled and does not require a large team of players.
The present general inventive concept provides a kicking disc board game.
Additional features and utilities of the present general inventive concept will be set forth in part in the description which follows and, in part, will be obvious from the description, or may be learned by practice of the general inventive concept.
The foregoing and/or other features and utilities of the present general inventive concept may be achieved by providing a kicking disc board game, including a disc to be moved by at least one player, a board to receive the disc thereupon, and a plurality of goal posts removably connected to at least a portion of the board to receive the disc therein.
The disc may be a puck.
The disc may be a ball.
The board may include a first section, and a second section connected to at least a portion of a first side of the first section at a center of the board.
The second section may be removably connected to the first section.
The second section may be hingedly disposed to the first section, such that the second section may fold toward the first section.
The kicking disc board game may further include a plurality of end walls disposed on at least a portion of at least one side of the board to prevent the disc from falling off the board in response to contacting at least one of the plurality of end walls.
Each of the plurality of end walls may be disposed along a length of opposing sides of the board.
Each of the plurality of end walls may be elevated with respect to the board.

The board 110 may be of any predetermined size to fit within a room of a building. For example, the board 110 may have a length of eight feet and a width of two feet, but is not limited thereto.

The game may be played by at least one player, but any number of players may participate. The at least one player may decide on a score necessary to win the game. For example, the score necessary to win may be five points, but is not limited thereto.
To begin the game, at least one first player may kick the disc 140 from at least a portion of the first section 111 or the second section 112 toward the second goal post 122 or the first goal post 121, respectively. The at least one first player may receive a point in response to the disc 140 moving within the second goal post 122 or the first goal post 121. Subsequently, regardless of whether the at least one first player scores the point, at least one second player may kick the disc 140 from at least a portion of the second section 112 or the first section 111 toward the first goal post 121 or the second goal post 122, respectively. As such, the at least one second player may receive a point in response to the disc 140 moving within the first goal post 121 or the second goal post 122
Also, the first end wall 131 and/or the second end wall 132 may prevent the disc 140 from falling off the first section 111 and/or the second section 112 in response to the disc 140 contacting at least a portion thereof.
Therefore, the kicking disc board game 100 may be a fun and innovative game for the at least one player to play in an indoor and/or an outdoor environment. The kicking disc board game 100 may capture a spirit of popular sports games, such as hockey and soccer. However, the kicking disc board game 100 may be played with fewer players than a standard sports game. Furthermore, the kicking disc board game 100 may be quickly assembled and disassembled.
