Claims
- 1. A flushing system for a liquid waste canister having a removable lid, the system comprising:a) a cabinet having a sink disposed within said cabinet; b) a drain in communication with said sink; c) a first means disposed in said cabinet for rotating said canister from an initial position to a drainage position; d) a second means for rotating said canister lid from an initial position connected to said canister to-a- removal position disengaged therefrom including a lid removal bracket adapted to removably engage the canister lid; and e) a spray system within said cabinet for introducing a pressurized liquid into the cabinet to flush residue out of the canister.
- 2. The system of claim 1 wherein said cabinet includes a disposal collection tray, said disposal collection tray being adapted to receive said canister lid.
- 3. The system of claim 1 wherein the second means rotates simultaneously with the first means about a different axis.
- 4. The system of claim 1 wherein the first means for rotating the canister includes a canister bracket adapted to receive said canister, said canister bracket includes notches positioned on an inner edge of the canister bracket to facilitate insertion of said canister.
- 5. The system of claim 1 wherein said lid removal bracket is a circular bracket.
- 6. The system of claim 1 wherein said second means for rotating said canister lid includes a lid grip, said lid grip being adapted to grip the canister lid.
- 7. A liquid waste disposal and canister flushing system comprising:a) a canister including a lid; b) a cabinet having a sink positioned within said cabinet, said sink in communication with a drain; c) a first means for receiving and rotating the canister between initial and drainage positions; d) a second means for rotating the canister lid between an initial position and a removed position including a lid removal bracket adapted to removably engage the canister lid, said initial position being in contact with the top of the canister; and e) a spray system positioned within said cabinet for introducing a pressurized liquid into the system to flush residue out of the canister.
- 8. The system of claim 7 wherein said cabinet includes a collection tray adapted to receive said canister lid.
- 9. The system of claim 7 wherein said first means for rotating the canister rotates simultaneously with said second means for rotating the canister lid.
- 10. The system of claim 7 wherein the first means for rotating the canister includes a canister bracket adapted to receive said canister, said canister bracket includes notches positioned on an inner edge of the canister bracket.
- 11. The system of claim 7 wherein said lid removal bracket is a circular bracket.
- 12. The system of claim 7 wherein said second means for rotating said canister lid includes a lid grip, said lid grip being adapted to grip the canister lid.
- 13. A method of disposing of liquid waste from a canister having a lid comprising the steps of:a. providing a machine with a cabinet having a sink and a drain in communication with the sink, said cabinet including a cover and a rotatable device for holding the canister and a second rotatable device adapted to remove the canister lid; b. securing the canister in said rotatable device; c. closing the cover of the cabinet; d. removably engaging the lid with the second rotatable device; e. removing the lid with the second rotatable device; f. rotating the canister from an initial position to a drainage position; g. spraying an interior of the canister so that the contents thereof are flushed; and h. draining the liquid waste from the canister into the sink and drain.
