Claims
- 1. A container comprising a polymer having a porous structure and a liquid nitrogen leak pressure of at least 0.002 Mpa and which restricts the passage of cryogenic fluid in the liquid phase while permitting the passage of cryogenic fluid in the gaseous phase, wherein said container is flexible below 0 degrees Celsius.
- 2. The container of claim 1, wherein the polymer is polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE).
- 3. The container of claim 2 in which said container is comprised of PTFE and at least one other polymer.
- 4. The container of claim 3 in which the other polymer is a copolymer of hexafluoropropylene and tetrafluoroethylene.
- 5. The container of claim 3 in which the other polymer is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoropropylvinyl ether.
- 6. The container of claim 2 in which said container comprises multiple layers of PTFE film.
- 7. The container of claim 1 wherein the polymer is expanded polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE).
