Claims
- 1. A method for placing memory modules into a container comprising the steps of
- opening the container, the container having a lid;
- inserting the memory modules in slots formed between protrusions formed into the container, each of the slots having a root;
- seating the modules on a ledge at the root of the slots;
- filling a desired number of the slots with the memory modules;
- closing the lid of the container; and
- securing the lid with a latch.
- 2. The method of claim 1 further comprising an inspection step after said step of securing said lid to detect the number of memory modules contained in the container.
- 3. The method as defined by claim 2, wherein said step of inspecting is carried out by an automatic detecting means.
- 4. The method as defined by claim 3, wherein said automatic detecting means is a photocell.
