Claims
- 1. A superconductor comprising a substrate, and a superconducting film provided on said substrate and having a thickness in the range of between 300 Å to 950 Å, said superconducting film containing Hg and M, wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Bay Sr and Ca, Cu and O.
- 2. A superconductor as claimed in claim 1, and having a critical current density Jc at 77K of at least 6×106 A/cm2.
- 3. A superconductor as claimed in claim 1, wherein said superconducting film is represented by the following formula:HgM3Cu2Oy wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca and y is a number in the range of 6.10-6.31.
- 4. A superconductor comprising a substrate, and a superconducting laminate film provided on said substrate and including at least two superconducting layers each having a thickness in the range of between 300 Å to 950 Å, said superconducting layer containing Hg and M, wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca, Cu and O.
- 5. A superconductor as claimed in claim 4, wherein at least one of said layers is represented by the following formula:HgM3CU2Oy wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca and y is a number in the range of 6.10-6.31.
- 6. A superconductor as claimed in claim 5, wherein at least one of the other layers is represented by the following formula:HgM4Cu3Oz wherein M is at least one element selected from the group consisting of Ba, Sr and Ca and z is a number in the range of 8.17-8.30.
