Claims
- 1. An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:(a) amino acids 1 to 182 of SEQ ID NO:2; (b) amino acids 2 to 182 of SEQ ID NO:2; (c) amino acids 16 to 182 of SEQ ID NO:2; and (d) an amino acid sequence at least 95% identical to (c), wherein said protein has protease activity.
- 2. The protein of claim 1, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (a).
- 3. The protein of claim 1, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (b).
- 4. The protein of claim 1, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (c).
- 5. The protein of claim 1, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (d).
- 6. The protein of claim 1 comprising a polypeptide heterologous to SEQ ID NO:2.
- 7. The protein of claim 6, wherein the heterologous polypeptide is fused to said amino acid sequence.
- 8. The protein of claim 7, wherein the heterologous polypeptide comprises an IgG constant domain.
- 9. An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:(a) the amino acid sequence of the full-length polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209042; (b) the amino acid sequence of the full-length polypeptide lacking the N-terminal methionine encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209042; and (c) the amino acid sequence of the mature polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209042.
- 10. The protein of claim 9, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (a).
- 11. The protein of claim 9, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (b).
- 12. The protein of claim 9, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (c).
- 13. The protein of claim 9, comprising a polypeptide heterologous to the full-length polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209052.
- 14. The protein of claim 13, wherein the heterologous polypeptide is fused to said amino acid sequence.
- 15. The protein of claim 14, wherein the heterologous polypeptide comprises an IgG constant domain.
- 16. An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:(a) amino acids 1 to 261 of SEQ ID NO:5; (b) amino acids 2 to 261 of SEQ ID NO:5; (c) amino acids 23 to 261 of SEQ ID NO:5; and (d) an amino acid sequence at least 95% identical to (c), wherein said protein has protease activity.
- 17. The protein of claim 16, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (a).
- 18. The protein of claim 16, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (b).
- 19. The protein of claim 16, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (c).
- 20. The protein of claim 16, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (d).
- 21. The protein of claim 16, comprising a polypeptide heterologous to SEQ ID NO:5.
- 22. The protein of claim 21, wherein the heterologous polypeptide is fused to said amino acid sequence.
- 23. The protein of claim 22, wherein the heterologous polypeptide comprises an IgG constant domain.
- 24. An isolated protein comprising an amino acid sequence selected from the group consisting of:(a) the amino acid sequence of the full-length polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209055; (b) the amino acid sequence of the full-length polypeptide lacking the N-terminal methionine encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209055; and (c) the amino acid sequence of the mature polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209055.
- 25. The protein of claim 24, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (a).
- 26. The protein of claim 24, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (b).
- 27. The protein of claim 24, comprising an amino acid sequence according to (c).
- 28. The protein of claim 24, comprising a polypeptide heterologous to the full-length polypeptide encoded by the cDNA contained in ATCC deposit number 209055.
- 29. The protein of claim 28, wherein the heterologous polypeptide is fused to said amino acid sequence.
- 30. The protein of claim 29, wherein the heterologous polypeptide comprises an IgG constant domain.
