Claims
- 1. A device for cleaning a photosensitive screen having a multitude of tiny openings for use in formation of an electrostatic latent image which is not subjected to a developer, wherein a corona discharging means is disposed in face-to-face relation with one side of said screen for forming the latent image on said screen, comprising in combination:
- means disposed at said one side of said screen for rubbing said screen to loosen dust particles accumulated thereon during operation of said discharging means;
- wall means for enclosing substantially all of said rubbing means; and
- means to draw out of said wall means an atmosphere containing dust which has been loosened by said rubbing means.
- 2. A device for cleaning a photosensitive screen having a multitude of tiny openings for use in formation of an electrostatic latent image which is not subjected to a developer, comprising in combination:
- first and second means for rubbing said screen to loosen dust particles accumulated thereon;
- first and second wall means for respectively enclosing substantially all of said first and second rubbing means; and
- first and second means for respectively drawing out of said first and second wall means an atmosphere containing dust which has been loosened by said rubbing means;
- wherein said first and second rubbing means together with their associated wall means and drawing means constituting said cleaning device are substantially opposed to each other with said photosensitive screen being interposed therebetween.
- 3. A device for cleaning a photosensitive screen having a multitude of tiny openings for use in formation of an electrostatic latent image which is not subjected to a developer, comprising in combination:
- means for ejecting compressed air onto said screen; and
- means for collecting the compressed air which passes through said screen at a position which is substantially opposed to said ejecting means with said screen being interposed therebetween.
- 4. A device for cleaning a photosensitive screen having a multitude of tiny openings for use in formation of an electrostatic latent image which is not subjected to a developer, wherein a corona discharging means is disposed in face-to-face relationship with one side of said screen for forming the latent image on said screen, comprising in combination:
- means disposed at said one side of said screen for rubbing said screen to loosen dust accumulated thereon during operation of said discharging means;
- walls means for enclosing substantially all of said rubbing means;
- means disposed in face-to-face relation with the other side of said screen for ejecting compressed air through said rubbing means; and
- means to draw out from said wall means an atmosphere containing dust which has been loosened by said rubbing means.
- 5. The device as claimed in claim 4, wherein said rubbing means includes a rotatable brush extending transversely of said screen.
- 6. The device as claimed in claim 1 or 4, further comprising dust collecting means coupled to said draw out means.
- 7. The device as claimed in claim 3, further comprising dust collecting means coupled to said collecting means.
