Claims
- 1. A toll rate estimation method comprising:receiving billing information for completed calls; based on first received billing information, for at least some completed calls, generating an upper bound and a lower bound for an estimated toll rate for portions of the at least some completed calls; and based on second received billing information, refining bounds on the portions of the at least some completed calls to determine the estimated toll rate.
- 2. The toll rate estimation method of claim 1 wherein generating an upper bound and a lower bound comprises determining the upper bound and the lower bound based on received billing information for a one-minute duration call and wherein refining bounds comprises generating an upper bound and a lower bound for an additional minute rate based on received billing information for a two-minute duration call.
