Claims
- 1. A method of forming adjacent ink and dilution solution nozzles in an orifice plate, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing an orifice plate having a thickness dimension;
- forming a first nozzle having a first orifice extending through the orifice plate at a first angular orientation generally normal to the thickness dimension;
- forming a second nozzle having a second orifice adjacent to said first orifice at a second different angular orientation;
- wherein one of said first and second nozzles is the ink nozzle and the other of said first and second nozzles is the dilution solution nozzle, and wherein said first and second nozzles are formed by laser light irradiation.
- 2. The method of forming adjacent ink and dilution solution nozzles in an orifice plate according to claim 1, wherein the orifice plate comprises having a nozzle communicating chamber, and said second nozzle is formed so as to communicate with said nozzle communicating chamber.
- 3. The method of forming adjacent ink and dilution solution nozzles in an orifice plate according to claim 1, wherein a diameter of said first orifice is larger than a diameter of said second orifice.
- 4. The method of forming adjacent ink and dilution solution nozzles in an orifice plate according to claim 1, wherein the first nozzle is the dilution solution nozzle and the second nozzle is the ink nozzle.
- 5. A method of manufacturing a printing device having an orifice plate, the method comprising the steps of:
- providing an orifice plate having a thickness dimension;
- forming a first nozzle having a first orifice extending through the orifice plate at a first angular orientation generally normal to the thickness dimension;
- forming a second nozzle having a second orifice adjacent to said first orifice extending through the orifice plate at a second different angular orientation;
- wherein one of said first and second nozzles is an ink nozzle and the other of said first and second nozzles is a dilution solution nozzle, and wherein said first and second nozzles are formed by laser light irradiation.
- 6. The method of manufacturing a printing device according to claim 5, wherein the first nozzle is the dilution solution and the second nozzle is the ink nozzle.
