Claims
- 1. A method for holding carrier strip, said carrier strip being supported upon a surface and comprising a ribbon having parallel edges and regularly spaced elements projecting from at least one of said edges, comprising the steps of:
- (A) bringing first and second pairs of pin means projecting upwardly from said surface to positions with one pin means of said first pair and one pin means of said second pair being grippingly disposed against one of said edges and the other pin means of said first pair and the other pin means of said second pair being grippingly disposed against the other of said edges,
- (B) disposing one pin means of at least one of said pairs of pin means against one of said elements.
- 2. The method of claim 1 comprising the urging of said pin means by spring means against said edges.
- 3. The method of claim 1 comprising the step of disposing a pin means of one of said pairs of pin means against the forward side of one of said elements and a pin means of another of said pairs of pin means against the backward side of another of said elements.
- 4. The method of claim 3 comprising the urging of said pin means by spring means against said edges.
