Claims
- 1. A method of regulating the temperature of a grill for supporting food to be cooked, comprising the steps of:
- providing a grill that expands when heated;
- placing food on said grill;
- applying heat to said grill to cook said food; and
- reducing said heat applied to said grill in response to expansion of said grill.
- 2. The method recited in claim 1 further comprising the step of increasing said heat applied to said grill in response to contraction of said grill.
- 3. The method recited in claim 1 further comprising the step of supporting said grill in an elevated horizontal position.
- 4. The method of heating food, comprising the steps of:
- placing the food on a support means that expands when heated and contracts when cooled;
- supplying heat to said support means to cook said food; and
- decreasing said heat supplied to said support means in response to expansion of said support means and increasing said heat supplied to said support means in response to contraction of said support means.
