Claims
- 1. A servo controller for a press machine having a frame, a servomotor provided on said frame, a power transmission means for transmitting the rotational driving force of said servomotor, and a reciprocating motion conversion means for converting power received from said power transmission mechanism into a reciprocating motion of a ram holding a tool, said servo controller comprising a control-and-display means comprised of a plurality of switches for determining a locus of motion of said ram by controlling the rotation of said servomotor, a servo control means for controlling the motion of said servomotor, and a central processing means for giving commands to said servo control means based on input commands signals from said control-and-display means in that a tool held by said ram stays substantially still for a period of from 0.05 to 2 seconds immediately after the completion of pressing a workpiece so that an air flows into a space between said tool and said pressed workpiece to separate smoothly thereby preventing said workpiece from being damaged.
- 2. A servo controller for a press machine according to claim 1, wherein said central processing means gives further command such that a speed of said tool is reduced to around 1.5 meter/second so that said tool does not generate high noise while working on said workpiece.
- 3. A servo controller for a press machine according to claim 1, wherein said switches are a plurality of switches which is possible to produce various speeds of said ram.
- 4. A servo controller for a press machine according to claim 2, wherein said servo control means includes a deceleration command means for commanding said tool to be decelerated while working on said workpiece.
- 5. A servo controller for a press machine according to claim 1, further including a forward-and-backward rotation command means for commanding said servomotor to rotate forwardly and reversely.
- 6. A servo controller for a press machine according to claim 1, further including a lubricating oil filled inside of said frame to damp noise generated from said power transmission means and said reciprocating motion conversion means positioned within said frame.
