Claims
- 1. A method to inhibit activation of an inflammatory cell which interacts with a columnar epithelium, comprising administering to a subject an effective amount of a lipoxin A4 compound.
- 2. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the kidney.
- 3. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the stomach.
- 4. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the liver.
- 5. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the thyroid.
- 6. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the trachea.
- 7. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the lung.
- 8. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the gall bladder.
- 9. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the urinary bladder.
- 10. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the bile duct.
- 11. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the pancreatic duct.
- 12. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the testicle.
- 13. A method of claim 1, wherein the columnar epithelium is an epithelium of the intestine.
- 14. A method of claim 1, wherein the lipoxin compound is an analog of natural lipoxin A4.
- 15. A method of claim 14, wherein the analog of natural lipoxin A4 has a longer half-life than natural lipoxin A4.
