Claims
- 1. A polymer syrup comprising:
- 40% to 70% by weight of a linear, uncrosslinked poly (n-butyl) acrylate prepolymer having a molecular weight between 100,000 and 600,000 dissolved in
- 30% to 60% by weight of n-butyl acrylate monomer.
- 2. A polymer syrup according to claim 1 which further includes a polymerization initiator.
- 3. A polymer syrup according to claim 1 wherein said polymerization initiator is azoisobutyronitrile.
- 4. A polymer syrup according to claim 1 wherein said poly acrylate and said acrylate monomer are present in equal amounts by weight.
- 5. A polymer syrup according to claim 1 which contains 1-5 weight percent of a polymerizable ultraviolet stabilizer.
- 6. A polymer syrup according to claim 5 wherein said polymerizable ultraviolet stabilizer is 5-vinyl, 2-hydroxyphenyl benzotriazole.
- 7. A polymer syrup according to claim 1 in which the prepolymer is prepared in cyclohexane solvent.
