- 11. The method of claim 10, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is administered daily for at least three days.
- 12. A method of stimulating the appetite of a dog comprising administering to said dog an effective appetite-stimulating amount of at least one composition comprising: ##STR13## wherein R is H or an alkyl containing 1 to 6 carbons.
- 13. The method of claim 12, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is at a ratio of from about 95 to about 190 milligrams for a dog weighing from about 31 to about 50 kilograms.
- 14. The method of claim 12, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is at a ratio of from about 190 to about 380 milligrams for a dog weighing from about 31 to about 50 kilograms.
- 15. The method of claim 12, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is administered at least twice per day.
- 16. The method of claim 13, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is administered at least twice per day.
- 17. The method of claim 14, wherein said effective appetite-stimulating amount is administered at least twice per day.
