Claims
- 1. A method of preparing a device comprising:preparing a slurry comprising a non-stoichiometric non-equilibrium crystalline nanomaterial; providing a substrate; depositing the nanomaterials in the slurry onto the substrate; and preparing the device by drying the slurry.
- 2. The method of claim 1 wherein the nanomaterial comprises an oxide.
- 3. The method of claim 1 further comprising adding a polymer while preparing the slurry.
- 4. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a sensor.
- 5. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a pH sensor.
- 6. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an electrochemical sensor.
- 7. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a hydrogen sensor.
- 8. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a biomedical sensor.
- 9. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a hydrocarbon sensor.
- 10. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an oxygen sensor.
- 11. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises a hydrogen sulfide sensor.
- 12. The method of claim 1 wherein the device comprises an electrical device.
