Claims
- 1. A method of lowering circulating free fatty acid levels in an individual comprising administering to said individual a composition comprising a carrier and a polypeptide sequence consisting of consecutive amino acids 101 to 244 of SEQ ID NO: 6.
- 2. The method of claim 1, wherein said method further reduces body mass.
- 3. An isolated polypeptide fragment of a full length OBG3 polypeptide, wherein said polypeptide fragment sequence consists of consecutive amino acids 101 to 244 of SEQ ID NO: 6.
- 4. A composition comprising a carrier and a polypeptide fragment sequence consisting of consecutive amino acids 101 to 244 of SEQ ID NO: 6.
