Claims
- 1. An optical information recording medium which is directly optically readable, comprising a substrate and a recording layer comprising a trisazo compound of formula (IV): ##STR40## wherein C.sub.p represents a coupling component residue.
- 2. An optical information recording medium which is directly optically readable, comprising a substrate and a recording layer comprising a bisazo compound of formula (I): ##STR41## wherein R represents hydrogen; an alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, with or without a phenyl group as a substituent; an aryl group selected from the group consisting of phenyl group, naphthyl group, mesityl group, and tri-t-butyl phenyl group; an alkoxyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; a nitro group; a cyano group; chlorine; or bromine;
- n is an integer of 1, 2 or 3; and
- C.sub.p represents a coupler residue.
- 3. An optical information recording medium as claimed in claim 2, wherein R represents an alkyl group selected from the group consisting of methyl group, ethyl group, n-propyl group, isopropyl group, n-butyl group, s-butyl group, t-butyl group, n-pentyl group, and neopentyl group.
- 4. An optical information recording medium as claimed in claim 2, wherein R represents an alkyl group having a phenyl group as a substituent.
