Claims
- 1. A phthalocyanine composition which comprises a mixture of a titanylphthalocyanine and a halogenated metal phthalocyanine in which a central metal is trivalent and having main diffraction peaks at 7.5.degree., 22.5.degree., 24.3.degree., 25.3.degree. and 28.6.degree. of Bragg angles (2.theta..+-.0.2.degree.) in an X-ray diffraction spectrum with Cu K.alpha..
- 2. The composition according to claim 1, wherein said composition is prepared by mixing a titanylphthalocyanine and a halogenated metal phthalocyanine in which a central metal is trivalent to prepare a phthalocyanine mixture, making the mixture amorphous by an acid pasting method, washing the amorphous mixture with water until a washing water after washing has a pH of 3 to 6 and a conductivity of 10 to 300 .mu.S/cm and then treating the mixture with an organic solvent to convert a crystal form of the composition.
- 3. The composition according to claim 2, wherein the washing water after washing has a pH of 3 to 6 and a conductivity of 10 to 100 .mu.S/cm.
- 4. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the central metal is selected from the group consisting of In, Ga and Al and halogen in the halogenated metal phthalocyanine is selected from the group consisting of Cl and Br.
- 5. The composition according to claim 4, wherein content of the titanylphthalocyanine in said mixture is in the range of from 20 to 95% by weight.
- 6. The composition according to claim 1, wherein the content of the titanylphthalocyanine in said mixture is in the range of from 20 to 95% by weight.
- 7. A process for preparing a phthalocyanine composition comprising a mixture of a titanylphthalocyanine and a halogenated metal phthalocyanine in which a central metal is trivalent and having main diffraction peaks at 7.5.degree., 22.5.degree., 24.3.degree., 25.3.degree. and 28.6.degree. of Bragg angles (2.theta..+-.0.2.degree.) in an X-ray diffraction spectrum with Cu K.alpha., which comprises mixing a titanylphthalocyanine and a halogenated metal phthalocyanine in which a central metal is trivalent to prepare a phthalocyanine mixture, making the mixture amorphous by an acid pasting method, washing amorphous precipitates with water until a washing water after washing has a pH of 3 to 6 and a conductivity of 10 to 300 .mu.S/cm, and then treating the mixture with an organic solvent to convert a crystal form of the composition.
- 8. The process according to claim 7, wherein the washing water after washing has a pH of 3 to 6 and a conductivity of 10 to 100 .mu.S/cm.
- 9. The process according to claim 7, wherein content of the titanylphthalocyanine in the phthalocyanine mixture is in the range of 20 to 95% by weight.
- 10. The process according to claim 7, wherein the central metal is selected from the group consisting of In, Ga and Al and halogen in the halogenated metal phthalocyanine is selected from the group consisting of Cl and Br.
